Ruth attended Faith Assembly of God church in Springdale, Ark. Granny, as she was lovingly referred to by most, was loving, kind-hearted, hardworking, and had a great sense of humor. She loved the Lord dearly and was a mighty prayer warrior.
Granny mostly enjoyed spending time with her family, but she also like to sew, garden, and take daily walks. Recently, playing with her great-great grandchildren became her favorite past time. Her favorite color was red and she cherished her collectibles of milk glass and clear glass dishes – very few of us ever left her home without receiving a glass dish to take home with us. We won’t say Granny was the best cook in the world, but she could snap beans and make a “mean” chocolate pie back in the day!
