BELLA VISTA — Ellen

Claire (Hatcher) Holt, 93, of Bella Vista, Ark., was born July 29, 1924, and departed this life Nov. 6, 2017, at Circle of Life Legacy Village Hospice in Bentonvill­e, Ark. She was born in Memphis, Tenn., to Harold and Nell Hatcher and attended White Haven high school where she met the love of her life, Charlie Holt in 1940.

Ellen and Charlie were married June 1, 1942, and shared almost 74 years of marriage. After WWII, Charlie and Ellen settled in Oklahoma City, Okla., and then retired in 1980, moving to Rogers, Ark., and then to Bella Vista, Ark. Charlie and Ellen had a loving marriage that was centered on their love for each other and their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Charlie and Ellen had two children, Kaye (Hahn) and Charlie Jr.

Ellen loved her role as homemaker and enjoyed supporting her husband as an independen­t used truck dealer by traveling with him all across the United States.

Ellen was very active in her local churches (Nichols Hills Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, Okla., Immanuel Baptist Church, Rogers, Ark., Bella Vista Baptist and Village Baptist Church, Bella Vista, Ark., and taught numerous Sunday school classes, led and co-led countless Bible studies, discipled many young women and volunteere­d her time at the Crisis Pregnancy Center of NWA.

Ellen is survived by a son, Charlie Holt Jr. and wife, Polly; a grandson, Charles M. Holt III (Chaz) of Monroe, Okla.; one granddaugh­ter, Kelly Lynn (Hahn) Miller and husband, Kelly Gene Miller; great-grandson, Jared Miller; great-granddaugh­ter, Allison Miller of Rogers, Ark.; sonin-love, John Hahn and wife, Sharon of Rogers, Ark.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Okla.

BENTONVILL­E — Kelly

Brent Davidson, 72, passed away on Oct. 11, 2017, at home in Bentonvill­e, Ark. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017. The memorial service will start at 2 p.m. with military honors provided at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers, Ark.

CANE HILL — Jane Sisemore, age 69, a resident of Cane Hill, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, in St. Louis, Mo. She was born June 29, 1948, in Fayettevil­le, Ark., the daughter of Everett and Mary Margaret (Phillips) Watts.

Mom was FAMILY. She was a mother to everyone, mom taught us all to value people more than things. She will be missed and has left a huge hole in many hearts that can never be filled. “Tho she be small, she is fierce.”

She was preceded in death by her father Everett Watts, her mother Mary Lee, one brother John Lee and one sister, Shirley Perkins.

Survivors include her

husband of 54 years Tommy Sisemore; one son Tommy N. Sisemore and wife Jennifer; three daughters Sandi Reed and husband Leon, Shelia Paczowski and husband Skip, and Sharon Sisemore; one brother Everett Watts and wife Pat; two sisters Francis Williamson and Wanda Williams; ten grandchild­ren Tommy Reed and wife Erin, Jessica Bower and husband Billy, Bethany Osburn and husband Clint, Tara Parra and husband Rodolfo, Jeff Thomas and wife Brandi, Abby Jane Crook and husband James, Mattie Jane Sisemore, Tommy Dak Sisemore, Brent Paczowski and Cody Paczowski; eight great-grandchild­ren Maci Grube, Trenton Roach, Jocalyn Thomas, Waylon Reed, Wyatt Osburn, Avery Reed, Kayden Osburn and Kylie Osburn and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at Luginbuel Chapel. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.

FARMINGTON — Billy

George Norvell Sr., 67 of Farmington, quietly departed this life Nov. 9, 2013, at his home in Farmington, Ark.

Bill arrived to greet his anxious parents, George Norvell Jr. and Carrie Catherine Parks Norvell on April 28, 1946, in Oklahoma City, Okla.

He was a 1964 graduate of Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma City. He spent the majority of his working years in sales.

He did not want his passing to be a somber event.

He met his wife, Vicki Blackwell, in 1971 in Fayettevil­le, Ark., while visiting relatives. They married and made their home in Oklahoma City and Moore, Okla., before returning to Northwest Arkansas in 1979.

He quickly felt at ease among the laidback, friendly locals.

Bill enjoyed the beautiful Ozark Mountains, the multitude of lakes and streams, and the abundance of wild life. He was especially fond of watching the deer quietly grazing on the back lawn.

He was a junk trade extraordin­aire, a skill he learned from his father as a child and continued until he died.

Bill had an insatiable appetite for restoring classic cars, (many of which he started, but never quite finished).

After he became disabled, he passed his time by haunting various car businesses around town.

Survivors include his mother, Carrie Catherine Parks Norvell of Moore, Okla.; his wife of 42 years, Vicki Blackwell Norvell, of the home; a son, Billy George Norvell Jr. and his wife, Mistie, of Farmington, Ark.; a brother, Michael L. Norvell of Farmington, Ark.; two sisters, Linda K. Apple and her husband, Ron, of Moore, Okla., and Amanda R. Norvell, of Stilwell, Okla.; and two grandchild­ren, Brandon and Dakota Norvell of Farmington, Ark.

The deceased did not want a funeral. He is resting peacefully at Fayettevil­le’s historic Mt. Comfort Cemetery.

FAYETTEVIL­LE —

Leonard Richard Kraemer,

age 87, passed away in Fayettevil­le on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017. He was born on Sept. 20, 1930, in St. Louis, Mo., to Richard and Gertrude Bitterman Kraemer.

Leonard was a pastor in the United Church of Christ and served in Minnesota, Indana, Vermont and New York. He was a graduate of Eden Theologica­l Seminary as well as Butler University.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Kraemer of Beaverton, Ore.; two sons, Luke Kraemer of Beaverton, Ore., and Aaron Kraemer of Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Julia Kraemer of San Jose, Calif.; and one brother, Richard D. Kraemer of St. Louis, Mo.

FAYETTEVIL­LE —

Charlene Gay Wenkus, 72, of Fayettevil­le died Nov. 10 in Fayettevil­le. She was born on Oct. 21, 1945, in Santa Monica, Calif., to Gae Burgess and John Francis Shea. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Phillip Wenkus and her parents.

She is survived by her daughters Mary Delap (Dax), Veronica Wenkus, and Rachel Luper (Larry). Three grandchild­ren Clara, Anna and Luke Delap. Her siblings, Nancy Knox (Skip), Jeanne Schuler (Steve), John Shea, Suzy Gibson (Scott), Barbie Shea and Natalie Meyerson (Jason) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayettevil­le.

LINCOLN — Jackie Ray

Daniels, age 57, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017. He was born on Nov. 1, 1960, in Fayettevil­le, Ark., to Freddie Lawrence and Hazel Vanover Daniels.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Jackie was a wonderful son, brother, husband and father. He had a love for fishing, building model cars and John Wayne. He loved his profession of truck driving and often took his mother, Hazel, and his children along with him.

He is survived by his three children, Brandy Daniels of Lincoln, Desirae Daniels of Lincoln, and Dusty Daniels of Fayettevil­le; his mother, Hazel Daniels of Farmington; two sisters, Gloria Phillips of Prairie Grove, and Cassie Showers of Fayettevil­le; nine grandchild­ren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

PRAIRIE GROVE —

Richard C. “Dick” Schroeder,

age 87, has graduated into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. By believing and holding on to Phil.3:14, “I press on toward the goal, for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

He was born June 26, 1930, in Philadelph­ia, Pa., to Walter and Martha Schroeder. Rather than going to college, he entered the U.S. Air Force in 1948. After schooling, he became a crew chief at Andrews Air Force Base but only for a short time.

Because of his background, he was chosen to go into Air Force Intelligen­ce. After eight weeks of briefing at the Pentagon, he was sent to Germany as a part of the 7057 Air Intelligen­ce Squadron. His work dealt with interrogat­ing German prisoners of war, then translatin­g the informatio­n into English. This work lasted three years. He continued serving during the Korean War until 1953.

After his military service, he worked for a commercial and industrial painting corporatio­n beginning at an entry level and becoming president and owner after 30 years. The company served all of Delaware Valley (Pennsylvan­ia, New Jersey, and Delaware). He was an avid motorcycli­st for more than 50 years and was an active member of the Christian Motorcycli­st Associatio­n.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years, Joanne; his daughter, Kristen Sue; his second adoring wife of almost nine years, Annette; and his brother, Hans Walter Schroeder.

He is survived by two sons, Mark and his wife Betty and Gary and Sharon; six grandchild­ren and 10 great-grandchild­ren, all living in Pennsylvan­ia and New Jersey; a sister, Doris Czworkski; two nieces, Karen and Glenn Dixon, and Cherie and Rick Moyer; one nephew, John and Fawn Schroeder; three stepsons, Kyle, Matthew, and Mark of Mena, Ark.; one step-daughter, Christy, and husband, David, of Farmington, Ark.; and a total of 11 step-grandchild­ren.

A graveside service will be held at noon Friday, Nov. 17 at the Fayettevil­le National Cemetery with military honors, with Pastor Lee Myane officiatin­g. Cremation and all arrangemen­ts by Moore’s Chapel of Fayettevil­le.

Mrs. Painter was preceded in death by her husband, Hughes Walter Painter Sr.; her mother, Mildred Best Marlow; her father, Jesse Marlow; two sisters, Ann Smith and Eloise Mychek; three brothers, James Marlow, Hugh Marlow, and Ray Marlow.

Mrs. Painter is survived by four children: two daughters, Syble I. Freligh (Ed) and Carolyn A. Plummer (Danny); two sons, Hughes Walter Painter Jr. (Toni), and Randall C. Painter (Linda); 11 grandchild­ren, 19 great-grandchild­ren, three great-great-grandchild­ren, and a sister-in-law, Vivian Painter Holder of Spring Lake, N.C.; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Painter was a graduate of Fayettevil­le Technical Institute in Fayettevil­le, N.C., where she earned an associates of arts in business administra­tion.

She was a military wife, a caregiver to her brother Hugh, a gifted seamstress, and a Realtor.

Mrs. Painter was a member of the Green Springs Baptist Church in Parkton, N.C., where she loved to sing and was a member of the choir in previous years.

In lieu of a traditiona­l funeral service, the family will celebrate her birthday and life June 2, 2018, in Fort Smith, Ark., where she will be interred in Fort Smith National Cemetery joining her husband of 74 years.

SPRINGDALE — Mark

James Kugler, 54, of Springdale, Ark., passed away at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayettevil­le on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017. Mark was born July 24, 1963, at Fort Belvoir, Va., to Jim and Kathy Kugler.

Mark grew up in Eagle River, Wis., and graduated from Northland Pines High School in 1981.

After attending Montana State for one year and serving 8½ years in the Army, Mark settled in Bella Vista, Ark., and completed his college education at John Brown University.

He worked for the Bella Vista Police Department, Securitas Security Co. and Walmart.

Mark’s bucket list this summer consisted of taking a long-planned fishing trip to Alaska with friends and seeing his younger son become an Eagle Scout. He accomplish­ed both those events!

Mark was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his sons, CJ and Nicolas, both Eagle Scouts and students at University of Arkansas; mother, Kathy Johnson; brother, Mike (Sandra) Kugler; nieces, Erica and Andrea and other friends and relatives.

A Mass of the Resurrecti­on will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista, Saturday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the Fayettevil­le National Cemetery at a later date.

SPRINGDALE — Joseph

(Joey) A. Roso III, 52, of Springdale died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at his home. He was born Oct. 12, 1965, in Springdale, Ark., the son of Joseph A. Roso, Jr. and Darla Fields Roso Wootton.

According to the family, he always had a sunny smile, loved to bowl, play dominos, watch “creature feature” movies on TV, fish, go to the casino, and he loved his Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathe­r, Fred Fields of Springdale, Ark., and grandparen­ts, Joseph and Margaret Roso of Tontitown, Ark.

Survivors include his mother, Darla Wootton of the home; father, Joseph Roso Jr. (Patrice) of Arcadia, Okla.; sister, Danica Roso Rogers (Dan) of Broken Arrow, Okla.; grandmothe­r, Ruby Fields of Springdale; aunts, Ruth Ann Roso Ritchie(Fred) of Springdale, Janice Fields Jones of Moline, Ill.; uncles, Warren Fields (Holly) of Rogers, Ark., and Ed Roso of Tontitown, Ark.

SPRINGDALE — Della

Leona Williams (Lea), 74, a resident of Springdale, Ark., passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, following her battle with cancer.

Mrs. Williams was born March 11, 1943, in Springdale. She was the daughter of Dorthy Bohannan Silmon and Charles F. Silmon. She was raised in Springdale and after marrying Bill W. Williams in 1975, they moved to Tennessee. It was there they raised their family and in 1991, returned to Springdale.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill W. Williams; daughter, Sharon R. Croft and her husband, John Croft; son, Michael A. Ramey and his wife, Rhonda Ramey; step-daughter, Melinda Banzhaf; step-son, Bill Wayne Williams; aunts, Betty Wheeler and Zeldene Harbour; 17 grandchild­ren, 25 great-grandchild­ren and two great-great grandchild­ren; a host of cousins and close friends. Mrs. Williams was also preceded in death by her step-daughter, Teresa Todd of Rogers, Ark.

Mrs. Williams was employed by Lindsey Management for the past 26 years as a community director. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Bill and had many hobbies but her passion was crafting & scrapbooki­ng. Her creativity was always on display around the holidays with her many beautiful hand crafted decoration­s and gifts. No one loved their family more than “Miss Lea” and she left us with one wish. “Take care of Daddy and each other.”

Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 at Westfield Chapel and will be officiated by Reverend Bruce McCarty. Interment will follow at Bluff Cemetery.

KATY, Texas — Jane Frances Camp Pianalto,

age 57, passed away Nov. 8, 2017, in Katy, Texas.

Jane was born Nov. 16, 1959, in Springdale, Ark. She was the daughter of Warren Scheley Camp Sr. and Frances Baker Underhill.

Jane graduated from Springdale High School in 1978. She went on to graduate from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock with a bachelor of science degree in nursing in 1983.

She specialize­d in the cardiovasc­ular ICU early in her career at the VA hospital in Little Rock, and went on to work in the high-risk OBGYN clinic.

Jane was a member of First United Methodist Church while she lived in Springdale.

In August 1980, Jane married the love of her life, Gregory Pianalto of Tontitown,

Ark. They were married for 37 wonderful years.

Greg and Jane moved to Plano, Texas, in 1993, where they raised their two daughters, Shelly Pianalto Doggett of Austin, Texas, and Paige Pianalto of Dallas, Texas.

Jane continued her nursing career working in OBGYN and infertilit­y, helping many couples start their own families.

Jane retired three years ago, allowing Greg and her to enjoy traveling, especially to various beaches. She loved college football and fishing for the “big one,” which was always a story upon returning from a trip. Jane also enjoyed never losing in a competitiv­e game of Spades with family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and caring mom, wife, and grandmothe­r to her family.

Jane is preceded in death by her father, W. S. Camp Sr.; brother, Warren Camp Jr.; sister, Sarah Camp Wallace Gladdin; and stepbrothe­r, Jay Underhill.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory Pianalto; daughter, Shelly Pianalto Doggett and her husband, Kit Doggett, as well as their son, Spencer; daughter Paige Pianalto; her parents, Frances Camp Underhill and stepfather George Underhill Jr. and her stepbrothe­r and stepsister, Michael Underhill and Leslie Scates.

Jane’s first grandchild, Spencer Bishop Doggett, was born Oct. 27, 2017. Jane spent the first weeks of his life caring for and spending time with him and her family.

Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Springdale, Ark., on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. officiated by Reverend Judy Van Hoose.

There will be a visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church for friends and family. Following the church service, Jane will be interned at the St. Joseph’s Tontitown cemetery.
