ARKANSAS VS. MISSOURI: HOW WE SEE IT
CLAY HENRY, HAWGS ILLUSTRATED It’s hard to measure what’s left in the emotional tank for the Razorbacks. It’s the last stand for quite a few, including quarterback Austin Allen. That could make this close, just like the Mississippi State game. But, Missouri seems to be rolling on an even keel, even with better defensive play. Missouri, 34-17

BART POHLMAN, SPORTS TALK WITH BO Arkansas hung in there with Mississippi State despite not playing well. With injuries mounting and nothing left to play for, it’s hard to see the Hogs slowing down the prolific Tigers on offense. Missouri, 38-20

DUDLEY E. DAWSON, HAWGS ILLUSTRATED It looked earlier in the season that this might be a meaningless regular-season finale, but that was before Missouri turned its season around with five straight wins and clinched a bowl game. Missouri, 42-30
HARRY KING, HAWGS ILLUSTRATED The Tigers are bowl-eligible after winning five straight and Arkansas’ secondary is vulnerable to big plays by quarterback Drew Lock. Missouri, 38-24
CHIP SOUZA, NWA DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE Missouri has been a much-improved team over the second half of the season, while Arkansas has gone in the opposite direction. But something tells me the Razorbacks will have extra incentive to close this season with a win at home. Call it a hunch, or maybe my gut feeling is that extra helping of dressing.
