Junior guard Jake Early poured in a team-high 21 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead the Mounties in a hard-fought win over West Plains in the first round of the 71st annual Carthage (Mo.) Invitation­al.

The Mounties will take on top-seeded Nevada, Mo., in the semifinals at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Rogers (2-1) placed four players in double figures as sophomore Drew Miller added 13, including three 3-pointers. Amonta Jones and Garrett Dake chipped in 11 points each. Early’s 3-pointer with 21.2 seconds left at the end of the first overtime tied the game. The game was tied at 44 at the end of regulation, then 50-50 after one overtime and 57-57 after two overtimes. Eureka Springs 45, Lavaca 42

Garrett Cross scored 13 points to lead Eureka Springs past Lavaca during first-round action in the Golden Arrows Classic.

Carter Drennon and Brandon Ray each had nine for the Highlander­s (6-3), who will play Providence Academy during Thursday’s semifinal round. Garrett Eck had 14 and Ryan Dockery 13 for Lavaca (3-2). Shiloh Christian 74, Gentry 63

Jack Hutchinson had a 30-point outing to pace Shiloh Christian past Gentry in a 4A/3A District 1 game.

Seth Turpin was the only other Saints player in double figures with 12 points. Ethan Hammond paced Gentry with 17 points, while Dylan Kilgore chipped in 14.

Omaha 83, Mount Judea 32

Omaha had five players finish in double figures as the unbeaten Eagles rolled past Mount Judea in the opening round of the Omaha Border Classic.

TreVon McClellan and Dillon Gant each had 14 points for Omaha (12-0), which led 27-7 after the first quarter. Garrett Matlock and Zach Arnold each added 13, while JonRylee France chipped in 12 for the Eagles, who will play Green Forest in semifinal action Thursday.

Trenton Royce was the only Mount Judea player in double figures with 22 points.

Mountainbu­rg 71, Decatur 38

Levi Burrough had 14 points to pace four Mountainbu­rg players into double figures as the Dragons defeated Decatur in opening-round action of the Decatur Holiday Hoops Tournament.

Connor Rogers added 13 while Winston Shepherd and Jesse Canada chipped in 11 each for Mountainbu­rg (3-1), which will play Elkins in Thursday’s semifinal action. Jimmy Mendoza had 10 points for Decatur (2-3). Bergman 72, Mulberry 47

Shelton Welsh scored 16 points to lead Bergman past Mulberry in the Decatur Holiday Hoops Tournament.

Ethan Arnold added 14 for Bergman, while Adam Hoyle finished with nine for Mulberry.

Deer 69, Oden 32

Evan Middleton had 22 points to lead three Deer players in double figures as the Antlers defeated Oden in nonconfere­nce action Monday night.

Deer (10-1) blew the game open by outscoring Oden 21-4 in the second quarter, which turned a 10-point lead into a 44-17 halftime cushion.

Isaiah Casey added 12 points and Caden Young 10 for the Antlers. Kingston 50, Jasper 45

Kingston outscored Jasper 15-9 in the fourth quarter to come from behind and claim a victory Monday during the Omaha Border Classic.

Chance Pruitt had 21 and Caleb Carter added 13 for Jasper (5-8). Jesse Root had 17 and Jacob Murrell 10 for Kingston.

Savanna Collins had 18 points to lead a trio of Har-Ber players in double figures as the Lady Wildcats upended Carthage.

Sophie Nelson added 17 points and

a team-high five rebounds, while Maci Mains 12 for Har-Ber. Collins also had five assists and four steals. Gentry 44, Shiloh Christian 29

Haley Hays had 13 points to lead Gentry to victory over Shiloh Christian in 4A/3A District 1 action Tuesday night.

Libby Calico had 11 points as Lincoln defeated West Fork in a 4A/3A District 1 game Tuesday night.

Grace Dougan had 15 points to lead three Clarksvill­e players in double figures as the Lady Panthers rallied in the second half and defeated visiting Pottsville.

Alexie Tibbs had 14 and Maegan Payne 13 for Clarksvill­e, which bounced back from a 17-15 halftime deficit to lead 30-26 after three quarters. Skylar Campbell led Pottsville with 10. Berryville 76, Kingston 46
