Rogers Heritage 60, Belton, Mo. 50

Seth Stanley led four War Eagles in double figures with 21 points as Heritage cruised to the win in the Republic (Mo.) Invitation­al on Friday.

Heritage led 29-21 at halftime and extended the lead to 41-30 after three quarters. Dawson Peek and Bryce Breedlove chipped in 13 points each and Ty Olsen added 10. Heritage will play Springdale High in the consolatio­n round at 12:30 today. Bentonvill­e West 62, Harrison 33

West held Harrison without a point for more than 10 minutes to start the game, and the Wolverines rolled on to their second victory in as many days at the Tri-State Hoops Classic in Willard, Mo.

Collier Blackburn had 12 points for the Wolverines (3-0), who led 31-7 at halftime, while Gabe Hornsby and Dillon Bailey added 10 points apiece.

West will play against today against Willard, Mo. Elkins 45, Prairie Grove 38

Elkins used an 18-4 run in the fourth quarter to come from behind and upend Prairie Grove in a 4A/3A District 1 game Friday night.

Paxton Barnett had 21 points for the Elks (50, 1-0), whose 19-16 halftime lead ended with an 18-8 Prairie Grove outburst in the third quarter. JD Elder had 14 points and Will Pridmore 11 for the Tigers (2-3, 0-1).

Shiloh Christian 57, Gravette 56

Seth Turpin had 15 points and Jackson Hutchinson added 10 as Shiloh Christian nipped Gravette during 4A/3A District 1 game on the Saints’ home floor.

Kelton Trembly had 18 points and Bailey Soule added 15 for Gravette.

Nevada, Mo. 42, Rogers High 26

The top-seeded Tigers outscored Rogers High 19-9 over the middle two quarters and pulled away for the semifinal wins in the Carthage (Mo.) Invitation­al on Thursday night.

Rogers (2-2) trailed 23-15 at halftime, but Nevada pushed the lead to 32-19 after three quarters. Sophomore Elliot Paschal led the Mounties with nine points, while sophomore Drew Miller added nine.

The Mounties will play in the third-place game today at 12:30. Springdale Har-Ber 62, Batesville Southside 61

Har-Ber’s Tylor Perry hit two of three free throws with 3.4 seconds left to lift his team past Batesville Southside in the first round of the Barry Pruitt Hurricane Classic.

Tyler Garrett led Har-Ber (3-2) with 26 and Perry added 22. Har-Ber led 29-26 at halftime before Southside took a 43-41 lead into the fourth quarter. Deer 75, Acorn 54

Johnny Smith had 31 points to pace Deer past Acorn during Thursday’s semifinal action at the Gary Ford Invitation­al at Hartford.

Caden Young added 15 and Isaiah Carey 11 for the Antlers (11-1), who had a 35-23 halftime cushion.

Harrison 62, Bentonvill­e West 55

West couldn’t hold on to its 42-32 halftime cushion Friday as Harrison rallied to knock off the Lady Wolverines during the Tri-State Basketball Classic in Willard, Mo.

Shania Wilson and Ashaundi Henry each had 14 points to lead West, whose lead was cut to 48-47 by the end of the third quarter. The Lady Wolverines will play host school Willard today to close out the tournament. Farmington 65, Beebe 62

Alexis Roach had 18 points as Farmington held off Beebe in the first night of the Pottsville Classic.

Makenna Vanzant added 16 for the Lady Cardinals, who are playing this weekend without the services of coach Brad Johnson. Johnson is sitting out for medical reasons. Gravette 67, Shiloh Christian 35

Gravette held Shiloh Christian to just 13 points in the second half as the Lady Lions pulled away for the 4A/3A District 1 victory Friday.

Kristyn Branscum had 15 points to lead Gravette, while Jessica Bookout added 12. Lia Enos paced Shiloh Christian with 12. Gentry 42, Lincoln 37

Kya Dezurik scored 11 points and Hannah Boss added nine to pace the Lady Pioneers to victory Friday.
