The Building has enjoyed a long life in Northwest Arkansas, being in business for 26 years. “I spent the first 20 years on Highway 72, outside of Gravette,” stated boutique owner Jacquie Queen. “We had a beautiful run there. Then we were in Bella Vista for three years before residing at our current location in Bentonville.”

The boutique has an array of winter clothing and accessories available, including the highly sought after Up! Pants. This clothing line is designed to empower women and make them feel confident in who they are. The boutique will be carrying Up! Pants’ Thin credible Fit line of pants, which stretch to comfortably conceal body imperfections and give a slimming effect. “Our excitement is having the best fitting pant and the price point is beautiful,” added Queen. “We are fully stocked in sizes 4 to 16 and it’s the gift you give yourself.” Another item that makes a great gift for the holidays is Shreds. “Shreds is the perfect gift item this holiday season,” said Queen. “It’s a scarf that has been made out of upcycled materials. It utilizes salvaged fabric so nothing goes to waste at the factory. It is definitely our hot gift item.”

Being an all-inclusive sizes boutique, The Building has stylish fashion for women of all shapes and sizes. The boutique has fresh inventory every week making it possible to see new collections upon each visit. Queen’s accessories collection is the star of the store and fit is not an issue. The Building Boutique will be hosting a holiday open house 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, and noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10. There will be homemade cookies from the Cookie Lady, ’60s style sherbet punch, and swag bags for anyone who shops at the boutique. “For the holiday open house, we are going to do 50 percent off all sweaters and winter accessories,” stated Queen. “This includes shawls, scarves and wraps, gloves, neck warmers, and faux fur.” In addition to the holiday open house, the year end sale will be held Dec. 26-30. “It will be a big one,” noted Queen. “We will sell everything on sale that has already been marked down at half the sale price.”

The Building Boutique is located at 1206 N. Walton Blvd. in Bentonville. The Building has new winter store hours – the boutique will now be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturdays.
