Time to make choice

Bible Pathway says, “the human mind is a great thing. It was created by God. It has vast capabilities. However, the mind alone without spiritual discernment has little chance of truly gaining an understanding of the word of God. We need the wisdom of God. As we pray and read God’s word, the Holy Spirit will reveal his truth. ‘But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God … neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.’ … Unless his heart is right, a man’s reasoning will always misguide him — regardless of how much he may know.”

Many times becoming a believer in Christ comes from asking God to forgive you of your sins and to come into your heart. Sometimes asking for his help in an addiction, realizing you can’t quit on your own, will show you God’s love. Millions of people have come to know that Christ exists and were transformed. One only has to look and find many willing to give their testimony as to how Christ showed them his love. Reading God’s word, the Bible, came after believing in him, so I believe some of you who write each month in this paper that the Bible is wrong and people are foolish to believe it are just flat-out wrong.

I have prayed for many of you nonbelievers that you will receive God before you pass. I have no doubt some of you are still alive because of God answering that prayer but time is running out and it’s time to make a decision. MIKE DAVIS Maumelle
