DID YOU KNOW?: Mays-Hunt has already signed a national letter of intent to play baseball at Arkansas, but he has not ruled college football completely out of the picture. He said he has already been contacted by the Razorbacks shortly after Chad Morris was named Arkansas’ new coach.
HE SAID IT: “I think the season went pretty good. I wanted to get to state, and we did that. We didn’t win it, but we got there and that was my main goal. It was my teammates that kept faith in me, even though when we were losing. No of us ever doubted us.
“The onside kick against North Little Rock when we were down in the state championship game had to be my biggest moment. I was just telling coach that I wanted the ball and to kick me the ball, and somehow I got it.”
