DELANEY — Infant Cross Vance Turner of Delaney, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at his home. He was born Nov. 22, 2017, in Fayetteville to Dustin Turner and Tara Garrettson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rosie Turner. Survivors include his parents; adopted mother and aunt, Santana Turner; brother, Danny Wood; sister, Lexi Wood; grandmother, Shirley Van-Brunt-Wood; cousins, Jade Turner, Sagelee Turner, Ruby Turner, Sadie Turner and Mikayla Ruppel, and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan.16, 2018, at Crystal Hills Family Fellowship church in Elkins. Funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jasper Hankins officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Crosses with no graveside service. Funeral Services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Elkins. HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Opal Gregory Featherston, 92, of Hot Springs Village, passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018. She was born April 8, 1925, to the late William Gregory and Pearl Chaffin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Featherston.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Buford (Tom) of Hot Springs Village; son, Jim Featherston (Stacy) of Searcy; grandchildren, Franklin Featherston of Bryant, Anna Katherine Featherston of Searcy, and Sarah Grace Featherston of Birmingham, Ala.; grandson, Thomas Buford (Laura) of Seattle, Wash.; granddaughter, Erin Puryear (Jerry) of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Cora, and Hazel Puryear; and brother, Frank Gregory of Kansas City, Mo.
