Special programs associated with the “John Marin: Modernist at Work” exhibition at the Arkansas Arts Center include:

■ 6 p.m. Thursday: Lecture by Ann Prentice Wagner, curator of drawings. Wagner is also the curator of the exhibition. Admission free for museum members, $15 for nonmembers; tickets are required. Lower Lobby Lecture Hall.

■ 6:30 p.m. Thursday: reception for Arkansas Arts Center members to see the exhibition. Free for AAC members, Alice Pratt Brown Atrium.

■ *10 a.m. Friday: the exhibition opens to the public.

■ Noon Friday: Feed Your Mind Friday, with Josephine White Rodgers, who will discuss the art of John Marin. Free

■ Noon March 16: Feed Your Mind Friday, Katie Hall, registrar for collection­s, and Ann Prentice Wagner, curator of drawings, will discuss the care and conservati­on of the John Marin Collection. Free

■ Noon April 6: Feed Your Mind Friday with Arkansas artist Robert Bean, drawing and painting department chair of the Arts Center’s Museum School, who will discuss the work of John Marin. Free.
