BELLA VISTA — Lionel G. Clark, 85, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Jan. 31, 2018, at home. He was born on Aug. 17, 1932, in Phillips County, Kan., to Guy Clark and Edna Whitaker Clark.

His wife, Anna Clark predecease­d him. He is survived by one son, Rodney Clark of Surprise, Ariz.; one daughter, Kathy Underwood of Tonganoxie, Kan.; and two step-sons, Rodney Henderson of Kansas City, Kan., Joel Henderson of Basehor, Kan.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 3 at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. BELLA VISTA — Kenneth “Ken” Vance Hulse, 67, of Bella Vista passed away peacefully Jan. 31. BELLA VISTA — Scott Foster Kenworthy, 57, of Bella Vista died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, at his residence. He was born Jan. 26, 1961, in Denver, Colo., the son of Doris and Frank Kenworthy.

He served in the U.S. Navy and attended Ole Miss. He played golf on the Nike Tour. He was the golf pro at Brownsvill­e Country Club in Brownsvill­e, Texas. He lived in Northwest Arkansas for over three years.

He was preceded in death by his father; Frank Kenworthy and his aunt, Lois Woodworth. Scott is survived by his mother, Doris Kenworthy of Bella Vista; one brother, Jim and his wife Alane of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Bonnie Miltimore and her husband James of Covington, La., and two nieces, Kaitie Nolan of Fort Davis, Texas, and Sarah Tigert of New Orleans, La.

BELLA VISTA — Walter Henry Knocke, 91, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Jan. 30, 2018, at Circle of Life in Springdale. He was born the son of Edward and Hilda Knocke in Pawnee Rock, Kan., on Sept. 5, 1926.

Walter was on outstandin­g athlete at Wichita State University in both football and basketball. He was on the dean’s honor roll his junior and senior year. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in World War II attaining the rank of staff sergeant. He worked for Travelers Insurance Company for 27 years. In 1985 he was named Travelers’

Claims Manager of the Year. Walter moved to Bella Vista from Oklahoma City 30 years ago. He was a member of the United Lutheran Church. His church was always a major part of his life He taught many adult Bible classes and was a Steven minister at his congregati­on in Bella Vista.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 69 years, Betty Knocke; son Stanton Knocke of Shawnee, Kan.; daughter Martha Paulk of Castle Rock, Colo.; brothers Erwin Knocke of Arkansas City, Kan., Maurice Knocke of Champaign, Ill., and Ronald Knocke of Hot Springs, Ark.; five grandchild­ren and three great-grandchild­ren.

His family and friends will remember him as a very gentle man with a great sense of humor who loved his family dearly.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 3 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Mount Hope, Kan., under the direction of WulfAst Mortuary. A memorial service will be held at United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista at a later date.

ROGERS — James Perry Edwards, age 91, passed away in Rogers on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018. He was born in Webb City, Okla., on July 15, 1926, to Emmett Earl and Edith (Wells) Edwards.

He was a WWII Army veteran. He was a Sunday school teacher for many years at various churches. Most recently he belonged to the Pea Ridge United Methodist Church.

He was a welder most of his life. In 1971 He moved from Oklahoma to Rogers, Ark., where he operated TP Welding until retiring in 1986. For the following 3 years he assisted his wife in her furniture upholstery business until she also retired.

He is preceded in death by both his parents and brothers, George and Earl Edwards.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons George Edwards and his wife, Hideko, of Rogers, Larry Edwards of Rogers, Robert Edwards and his wife, Edwina, of Rockwall, Texas; daughters Jean and her husband, Tommy Carlton of Arkoma, Okla., Cathy and her husband, Bill Reineka of West Fork, Ark.; 16 grandchild­ren, 19 great-grandchild­ren, and five great-great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral services will be held Feb. 3, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, 1401 W. Hudson Road, Rogers, Ark. Casual dress is perfectly acceptable. WEST FORK — Terry John Mather, 58, of West Fork passed away Jan. 28, 2018. He was born Feb. 18, 1959, in Springdale. Preceded in death by his mother Nora Sue Spencer Mather. Survivors two children, Emily Chase McLaughlin and William Curtis Mather; father John Mather and wife Linda; siblings Robert Mather, Darla Gilfillan and Glenna Shaw.
