YONDER MOUNTAIN STRING BAND —
Colorado quintet and Northwest Arkansas favorites Yonder Mountain String Band return to George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 6. Taste Of Country says of the group, “‘Funky’ is just about the last word you’d expect to use to describe bluegrass, but Yonder manage to incorporate a funky groove with a sweet pop vocal hook and sunny vocal harmonies that would be right at home on mainstream pop radio.” yondermountain.com. $25. ARTINFUSION’S BLACK HEARTS BALL — Break up with traditional Valentine’s Day plans and join Crystal Bridges Museum’s sixth annual Black Hearts Ball. Get down to a mixture of jazz, blues and soul from Seratones (pictured), a favorite of NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series. Appetizers will be served throughout the night. This event is for ages 21 and up. “Soul of a Nation: Art In the Age of Black Power” will also be open. $45 (free to members); registration required. 418-5700.
