The Building Boutique gears up for spring with color and new fashion lines
With the upcoming changing of the seasons, celebrate by updating your wardrobe and accessories at The Building Boutique in Bentonville.
The Building has enjoyed a long life in Northwest Arkansas, being in business for 26 years. “I spent the first 20 years on Highway 72, outside of Gravette,” stated boutique owner Jacquie Queen. “We had a beautiful run there. Then we were in Bella Vista for three years before residing at our current location in Bentonville.”
Being an all-inclusive sizes boutique, The Building has stylish spring fashion and accessories for women of all shapes and sizes. “I just got back from Dallas market and I did pick up some awesome new lines,” mentioned Queen. “They have already begun to arrive, so the store is filling up right now.” This includes a new line of silk jackets, dusters, and scarves with jewelry that are all hand-painted. “They are inspired by actual art,” noted Queen. “They are reminiscent of O’Keefe, Monét, Picasso and all of the greats.” In preparation for the rainy weather of spring, the Building also currently has raincoats available with convertible collars that turn into hoods.
The Building Boutique also has great fashion for Mardi Gras, which begins today with Fat Tuesday. In addition, the boutique has all of your Valentine’s Day needs covered. “We got our Valentine’s items ready, so if you need to show some love we can set you up with whatever gifts you need,” added Queen.
The boutique has fresh inventory every week making it possible to see new collections upon each visit. “We have incredible spring colors — we are the color store,” said Queen. “We are dominant in purples, magentas, yellows, and greens.” Queen’s accessories collection is the star of the store and fit is not an issue. The Building currently has fashion shows coming up, starting next week — if you have a business, club, or organization that needs a show, openings are still available.
The Building Boutique is located at 1206 N. Walton Blvd. in Bentonville. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
