Audrey’s Resale Boutique hosts big sales on fall and winter items

- BY SARAH HANEY NWA DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE

When entering Audrey’s Resale Boutique at 1731 Forest Hills Blvd., in Bella Vista, you are greeted warmly with a smile and welcomed into a boutique of many treasures. From upscale ladies clothes and accessories (shoes, purses, belts, scarves, and jewelry), to fine furniture, home décor, and art, Audrey’s Resale Boutique has something for everybody. With new items arriving daily, the inventory is consistently fresh and ever-changing on repeat visits.

Through the end of the month, the boutique will be having big sales on all of the fall and winter items. “Our spring inventory will be coming into the store the first week of March,” stated boutique manager Kristy Danna. “You can start shopping for your Easter outfits or St. Patty’s Day items. We still have lots of fun gift items — our popular geraniums are back again this year. We have them in white, pink, and red.” The boutique will also be starting their sidewalk sales again in mid- to late March.

In personnel news, assistant manager Kellie Hoier is stepping down to accept a part-time position at Home Elements. “She will still be doing some volunteer work with us here at Audrey’s Resale Boutique,” noted Danna. “We want to wish her well – she has been an asset for us because she is strong in home decorating and in fashion. She always has great ideas and people really enjoy shopping with her.”

Being a non-profit organization, almost everything inside of Audrey’s Resale Boutique is donated and is either new or gently loved. All proceeds go to Audrey’s Home of Hope — a safe home for 17 year old and older pregnant women, and children. “In December, one of our Audrey’s mothers received her GED,” added Danna. “She is working full-time, recently graduated from drug court, and she is getting ready to start some college courses. She has really been a success story. Her baby is 14 months and doing great.” Audrey’s Resale Boutique helps many other non-profits by re-donating items that they do not use in the boutique. Helping Hands, Big Brother and Big Sisters, and Goodwill are just a few of the organizations that have benefitted from the giving of Audrey’s Resale Boutique.

If you’re in need of an upscale wardrobe or are wanting to decorate your home with fine furnishings and artwork, Audrey’s Resale Boutique has plenty to offer. You can like Audrey’s Resale Boutique on Facebook at facebook.com/audreysresale, and you can also choose Audrey’s Resale Boutique as your charitable organization on Amazon Smile — when you do this, .5 percent of your eligible purchases on Amazon will be donated to Audrey’s Resale Boutique. The boutique will return to its regular hours beginning in March and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Audrey’s Resale Boutique is always in need of donated furniture, home goods, and fashion items. “We are currently in need of some furniture donations,” added Danna. “If you have clean and good condition items, we will gladly take them.” Audrey’s Resale Boutique is always looking for more volunteers that could help, not only in the warehouse, but with sales help as well. If you are interested in donating to Audrey’s Resale Boutique or arranging a private shopping party or speaking engagement, please call (479) 250-9960, or send Boutique Manager Kristy Danna an e-mail at kristydanna@gmail.com.
