Donald Lee “Don” Egle, 89, of Bentonvill­e, Ark., passed away Feb. 28, 2018, at Bradford House in Bentonvill­e. He was born July 2, 1928, to Daniel and Martha (Oyer) Egle in Stratton, Neb.

Don graduated from Stratton High School in 1945 and married Iola Rousselle Aug. 1, 1950. Together they farmed near Stratton.

Don went to Reisch School of Auctioneer­ing in 1959 and operated Egle Auction Service until 2001. He also owned Imperial Auction Market and Chappell Livestock Auction. He was a member, serving as the president in 1988, of the Nebraska Auctioneer Associatio­n and was inducted into the Nebraska Auctioneer Hall of Fame in 2002.

He pastored Benkelman Baptist Church and was a lay pastor in numerous churches in SW Nebraska and NW Kansas until his retirement in 2001.

Don and Iola moved to Bella Vista in 2002 where he was active at Village Bible Church.

Preceded in death by his brother, Roy Egle, sisters, Katherine (infant), Irene Carpenter and Viola Miller, and his daughter, Sheryl Ann Holthus.

He is survived by his loving wife, Iola Egle of the home; sons DeWayne (Deborah) Egle of Holly, Mich., Lonnie (Anna) Egle of Bentonvill­e; daughter Donna (Steve) Sawyer of Omaha, Neb., son-in-law John Holthus of McPherson, Kan.; sister Bonnie Bley of North Platte, Neb.; 14 grandchild­ren and 11

great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. with funeral services following at 11 a.m., Monday, March 5 at Village Bible Church, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd, Bella Vista, Ark., with Pastor Mark Voll officiatin­g.

Arrangemen­ts are by Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.

ROGERS — Joyce

Waldron Bugea, 84, of Rogers, Ark., passed away on March 2, 2018, at Circle of Life Hospice Home at Legacy Village in Bentonvill­e, Ark. She was born in New Orleans, La., on March 31, 1933, to James Francis and Anne (Simoneaux) Waldron.

A resident of Baton Rouge, La., for over 50 years, she was retired from Louisiana National Bank (now Chase Bank).

Joyce is survived by a daughter, Anne Bugea Saullo of Rogers, Ark., a son, David Bugea of Rogers, Ark., a daughter and son-inlaw, Amy Bugea Tricou and Mike of Baton Rouge, La., eight grandchild­ren and nine great-grandchild­ren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Donald John Bugea Sr., a son, Donald John Bugea, Jr., and a daughter, Andrea Bugea Tricou.

Visitation will be held at Rollins Funeral Home, 1401 W. Hudson Road, Rogers, Ark., on Sunday, March 4, 2018, from 1-3 p.m.
