BELLA VISTA — George Dwight Jones, 94, of Bella Vista, Ark., died March 2, 2018, at Circle of Life Bentonvill­e. He was born March 8, 1923, in Hillsboro, Ill. FAYETTEVIL­LE — David Christophe­r Scheller, age 58, passed away at his home in Fayettevil­le on Thursday, March 1, 2018. He was born on Feb. 13, 1960, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Donald and Dolores Ernest Scheller. He is preceded in death by his parents.

David graduated high school and enlisted in the Navy right away. Once he was done with his military service, he went on to work for a power plant as a nuclear engineer.

He is survived by his two sons, Christophe­r Scheller and wife Jeanette of Ida, Mich., and Daniel Scheller of Corinth, N.Y.; his brother, Devin Scheller of Fayettevil­le; his sister, Debbie Hurd of Fayettevil­le; and his granddaugh­ter, Anastasia Scheller.

GENTRY — Margaret Anne Lessard, age 63, a resident of Gentry, Ark., passed from this life on March 3, 2018, in Fayettevil­le, Ark. She was born June 5, 1954, in Wilkinsbur­g, Penn., to Lawrence and Ramona (Musser) McDade.

She is preceded in death by her father and her sister, Christine McCoy.

Marge was the owner of Write Source, LLC.

Left to cherish Marge’s memory are her mother, Ramona McDade; her daughter, Rochelle Broglen; her siblings, Larry McDade and his wife, Karen and Brent McDade and his wife, Denise; two grandchild­ren, Maureen Broglen and Autumn Broglen; and one great-granddaugh­ter, Alice DeLong.

SPRING DALE— Deborah“Debbie” Tammy Horn, 58-year-old resident of Springdale, Ark., died March 3, 2018, at Circle of Life, Springdale, Ark. Born March 9, 1959, in Harrison, Ark., she was the daughter of Kirby DeVoe Klutts and Mary LaRue Hall Klutts.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Horn; brothers, Tony Klutts and wife Gail of Springdale, Ark., Michael Klutts of Springdale, Ark.; sister, Vicki Klutts of Harrison, Ark.; three nieces, Shawnya Gree of Lowell, Ark., Chanda Boyd of Goshen, Ark., and Sierra Klutts of Russellvil­le, Ark.

Burial of ashes will be at a later date.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Elizabeth Morgan “Betsy” Meek, age 71, of San Diego, Calif., formerly of Warren, Ark., died March 2, 2017. She was born Feb. 25, 1946, a daughter of the late Samuel Baldwin Meek, Jr. and Mary Janet Morgan Meek.

She was a member of the Warren High School Class of 1964, attended the University of Arkansas at Fayettevil­le and held a BA degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She was a Presbyteri­an and served the Gillespie School in La Jolla, Calif., as librarian.

Surviving is a son Michael Baldwin Meek, Watsonvill­e, Calif.; a sister, Melinda Meek Hennessey, San Diego, Calif., former Dean of Faculty and history teacher of Bishop’s School, La Jolla, Calif.; cousins, Cliff Morgan, Warren, Ark., Mike Morgan, Blue Springs, Mo., Charles Morgan, Belton, Mo., and John B. Frazer Jr., Warren, Ark.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, is a brothers-in-law, Gregg Hennessey; cousins, Lawrence H. Derby, Jr. and Samuel Arthur Derby.

Betsy’s avocations included watercolor painting, gardening and reading, all of which brought her great joy. Betsy came up in and was very active at First Presbyteri­an Church in Warren, Ark. Through her life, Betsy shared her faith in action through her loyalty to, love for, and care for her family and friends, most notably her son, Michael, her sister Melinda, her brother- in- law Gregg, her students, her friends of longstandi­ng, her colleagues and her community.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, March 10, at Oakland Cemetery, Warren, Ark., led by speakers Pauline Appleton Hudkins and Melinda Meek Hennessey. After the service, there will be a reception at the home of Cliff Morgan, 403 S. Myrtle St., Warren, Ark. All are invited.
