GRAVETTE — Charles

Earl “Charlie” Orr, 62, of Gravette, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born Sept. 18, 1955, in Gravette to Hurschel Lee and Mary Elizabeth Clark Orr.

Charlie was the chief at the Sulphur Springs Fire Department. He lived to hunt and fish, and was a hero to his family.

He is survived by two sons, David Orr and wife Cassandra, Bobby Orr and wife Cricket; one sister, Mary Orr; and six grandchild­ren.

A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, at Beacon Baptist Church in Gravette. Interment with honors will be at Coffelt Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.

ROGERS — Doris Clark,

83, of Rogers passed away March 15, 2018, in Rogers. She was born Dec. 22, 1954, in Janesville, Wis., the daughter of Glenn and Edith Rackow Wismer.

Doris owned several businesses in Rogers including Quality Pet Supplies. She volunteere­d at the Humane Society for Animals.

Preceded in death by her husband, Terrence Clark.

She is survived by her children Mary Macken of Rogers and Joseph Clark of Birmingham, Ala., and two grandchild­ren.

Graveside services 1 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018, at Martin Cemetery, Larue, Ark.

SPRINGDALE — Brian

Scott Simpson, age 40, of Springdale, passed away March 14, 2018. He was born Aug. 24, 1977, in Fayettevil­le, Ark., the son of Doug and Linda Gooding Simpson. He was a 1995 Graduate of Springdale High School. He never met a stranger and loved talking to people.

He also loved fishing and animals, but most of all loved wrestling with his boys.

Brian was preceded in death by his daughter, Addison Paige Simpson. He is survived by his sons, Bo Philip Simpson and Cale Ryan Simpson, both of Springdale; parents, Doug and Linda Simpson of Springdale; sister, Amanda ( Mandi) Michelle Luna and her husband Charlie of Springdale; brother Douglas Terryl Simpson Jr. of Houston, Texas, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

There will be an informal gathering of family and friends, Sunday, March 18, 2018, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Ark., 72762.

ROGERS — Negel “Rick”

Hall of Rogers died Wednesday. He was born Feb. 12, 1949, in Stella, Mo. Survivors: wife, Janie Hall, daughter, Libby (Kris) Rogers, two grandchild­ren, and many loved ones. WESLEY — Carolyn Sue

Cornelison, 65, of Wesley, passed away March 12, 2018, at home. Carolyn was born March 20, 1952, at Huntsville, to Elmer and Jesse Garrett Cornelison.

She wa s a member of the Duncan Church of Christ and was predecease­d by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Billie Cornelison of the home; one daughter, Shelly Poole of Red Star; two brothers, Donald Cornelison and Harold Cornelison, both of Wesley; three sisters, Debbie Peoples and Paulette Boyd, both of Wesley, and Connie Jackson of Elkland, Mo.; and two grandchild­ren, Casey Poole and Cassie Poole.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, in the Bruce Brashears Memorial Chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Jack English officiatin­g.

Pallbearer­s will be Casey Poole, Russell Cornelison, Gerald Cornelison, Gary Reynolds, Robert Boatright and Conley Whittmore.

Honorary pallbearer­s will be Ray Cousins, Ryan Reynolds, HD Callaway, and Logan Whittmore.

Interment will immediatel­y follow the service at Drakes Creek Cemetery. No visitation will be held.
