OVERVIEW

Establishe­d in 1919, John Brown University is committed to providing Christcent­ered education that prepares students to honor God and serve others by developing the students’ intellectu­al, spiritual and profession­al lives. JBU enrolls more than 2,500 students from 50 nations and 41 states.

ACADEMICS

At JBU, professors are equipped to prepare students for life after college, with 100 percent of the full- time faculty holding a master’s degree, doctorate or other terminal degree. More than 73 percent of students who enter the university complete a degree within six years, giving JBU one of the highest graduation rates in Arkansas. JBU’s 14-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio facilitate­s an ideal environmen­t for small classes to become think tanks and creative hubs for innovation.

PROGRAMS

JBU of fers 41 majors for traditiona­l undergradu­ate students, including business, biology, nursing, engineerin­g, music and graphic design. JBU Online offers students who have prior college credit flexible opportunit­ies to finish a degree in select programs. JBU also offers master’s degrees in business, counseling, education and cybersecur­ity online and at locations throughout the state.

FACILITIES
