Jonathan “Joe N” Esaw, 70, was born Feb. 26, 1948, in Pickens, Ark., to Eddie Esaw, Sr. and Mary Nelson Esaw. To this union, 11 children were born: Otis James, Eddie, Jr., Cornelius, Pearline, Lois, Eli, Freddie, Helen, Velma and Jean.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: daughters, Teresa Esaw, Jovyta Kinchelow, Sheveil Johnson (Esaw) and Shanwtra Esaw, all of Minneapoli­s, Minn.; brothers, Eli Esaw and Freddie Esaw, both of Little Rock, Ark.; sisters, Lois Williams, Helen Williams, Velma Smith, and Jean White, all of Little Rock, Ark., Pearline Allen, of McGehee,

Ark.; four grandsons; two granddaugh­ters; one great-grandson, all of Minneapoli­s, Minn.; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
