LR Catholic 10, Springdale High 0 (4) Southmoore 14, Springdale High 4 The Bulldogs dropped a pair of games over the weekend by double-digits. Little Rock Catholic’s Matthew Gephardt allowed just three hits and blanked the Bulldogs.
On Saturday, Southmoore led 11-0 and rolled to a 14-4 win. Christopher Harvey was 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs for Springdale. Bentonville West 6, LR Catholic 1
Will Jarrett had a home run, while Jaron Jenkins and Dakota McDonald combined on a five-hitter as West defeated Catholic on the Rockets’ home field Saturday during the Central Arkansas Invitational.
Maddox Thornton and Seth Schonauer each had two hits while six different Wolverines each drove in a run. Jarrett hit his home run to begin a three-run fifth for West (8-4).
Jenkins pitched six innings and picked up the victory, allowing one run on four hits while striking out three. McDonald pitched the seventh and allowed one hit while striking out two.

Royals split four games with Crowley’s Ridge
Ecclesia College won the day Friday, and Crowley’s Ridge returned the favor on Saturday as the two teams split a four-game series over the weekend at Tyson Park.
The Royals won Friday’s opener 12-5 as Madison Bates allowed five hits over six innings with five strikeouts. JT Stalnaker doubled and drove in four runs, and Cameron Dougherty had a triple and two RBIs.
Ecclesia won the second game 13-0 as Mason Alexander pitched a two-hitter over six innings with three strikeouts. Justin Friemel and Stevie Morphew each homered and Morphew and Jeremy Green each drove in four runs.
Crowley’s Ridge won Saturday’s first game 9-8 as Christian Hamilton belted a pair of home runs. Stalnaker homered and drove in three runs and Matt Garrison was 4-for-4 with two doubles.
In the final game of the series, Crowley’s Ridge claimed a 19-13 win by scoring eight runs in the seventh inning.
Bobby Wright homered twice for the Pioneers and drove in five runs. Crowley’s Ridge battered four Ecclesia pitchers for 14 hits.
Stalnaker had two home runs for the Royals (19-10) and drove in six runs.
