FAYETTEVILLE — It is with great sadness that the family of Jack Rueben
Cleghorn announces his passing on May 16, 2018, after a courageous battle against cancer. Born in Culman, Ala., to James and Estelle Cleghorn.
Jack served in the Navy aboard the USS Roosevelt and in Vietnam. In 1977, Jack moved to Arkansas where he worked in radio, TV, cable and with Nelms Auto. Jack married Bokie Alpe in 1979 where he settled down and they forged lifelong friendships in Fayetteville. Jack started his own cable buying business in 1993 and only closed in March 2018 due to his illness. He loved his work and was a hardworking, honest and dedicated man of the highest integrity. Jack also served on the Fayetteville City Planning Commission and was a founding member of the Northwest Arkansas Ad Federation.
Jack is lovingly remembered by his wife, Bokie, of 39 years and his adoring family. He is survived by his children: Jack Alpe Cleghorn (Grace); Kimberly, Connor, and Haven Glenn; Chip Wallace ( Becky); Dana Blake (Jason); grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He will also be forever remembered by his siblings, James Cleghorn (Carol), Joan Gay (Doy), and their children.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Jack on Monday, May 21, 10 a.m., with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1722 North Starr Drive, Fayetteville; Fr. Jason Tyler presiding. The Rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m.
Big Jack, as he was known by many, enjoyed bright colors. Please help us in celebrating his life by wearing colorful attire.

Ronald E. Hurst of Fayetteville passed suddenly. He leaves behind his significant other, Wendy; daughter, Caitlin; grandson, Rylin; brothers, Bob Hurst, Kenneth McMurra; sister, Patricia Lane; and numerous other relatives. FAYETTEVILLE — Rex Morris, age 88, of Fayetteville, died Friday, May 18, 2018. He was born Sept. 14, 1929, in Rector, Ark., the son of Ervin and Edith Murphy Morris.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was an avid motorcyclist, Razorback and Cardinal fan. He read every word of the newspaper every day. He served in the United States Navy and was in the Air Force Reserves for 10 years. He was a member of the Westside Church of Christ in Springdale.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bert Morris; a son, Tim Morris and his wife Paulette of Fayetteville; a daughter, Rexanne Morris of Fayetteville; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2018, at Moore’s Chapel. Burial will follow at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.

PRAIRIE GROVE —
Edna Frances Gose Baggett,
102, of Prairie Grove, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on May 16, 2018. She was born Dec. 11, 1915, to George W. Gose and Katherine Henson Gose of Lincoln, Ark.
She was a graduate of Prairie Grove High School and became a registered nurse working for many years with her husband Dr. Jeff Baggett. She was a member of the Prairie Grove United Methodist Church where she proudly served on many boards and committees. She served on the Prairie Grove library board for many years, and was a member of the Women’s Study Club. She was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary for the Washington County Medical Board, and an avid bridge player where she was a cherished member of the Friday Bridge Club.
Surviving her is her daughter, Karol Whitlock Zoeller of Little Rock, Ark.; twin grandsons, Robert (Whit) Whitlock, wife Christi, great-granddaughter, Lynnley, and twin great-grandsons, Graham and Grayson of Hope, Ark., Jefferson B. Whitlock, wife Candice, step- great- granddaughter, Laiken Gallucci, great-granddaughter, Ana Karol Frances, and great- grandson, Pate Whitlock of Little Rock, Ark.; son-in-law, Charles Lytton of Prairie Grove; stepdaughter, Sandra Long, her children, Suzanne, Steve and Stuart, and their families, all of Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Jeff Baggett; her parents, George and Katherine Gose; brothers, Robert Gose and Clifford Lester Gose; her sisters, Bonnie Payne and Jessie Gose; her loving daughter, Judith Kay Lytton; her son-in-law, Robert L. Whitlock; and two step-granddaughters.
Mammaw graced many lives over the past century and will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of celebrating life with her.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 21, 2018, 1 p.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery. There will be no graveside service held.

SPRING DALE—
Lenard Eugene Johnson, 73, of Springdale, passed away at Circle of Life Hospice on May 17, 2018. He was born July 25, 1944, in Springdale, Ark., to Thurman and Ruby Wofford Johnson.
Lenard was a local farmer. He enjoyed riding horses, working with cattle, baling hay and working in his garden. He was a member and deacon at Astounding Grace Church.
Lenard is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Brenda Johnson; and his brother, Lloyd Johnson.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Johnson and wife Kristie, and Andy Johnson and wife Tina, both of Springdale; daughter, Kaye Mayes and husband Rick, also of Springdale; four grandchildren, Aron Johnson, Kaycee Holliday, Clay Johnson and Makayla Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Harley Johnson, Kalvin Holliday and Kasidee Holliday; one brother, Bobby Johnson of Springdale.
Funeral services will be held at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale on Monday, May 21, 2018, at 10 a.m. with Pastors Lester Harp and Bill Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 20, from 4-6 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel.

LEBANON, Ind. — Joyce
S. (Donaldson) Stanton, 85, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. She was born in Niles, Mich., on June 11, 1932, the daughter of the late Bert S. Donaldson and Helene (Scalla) Donaldson.
In 1951, Joyce graduated from Springdale High School in Arkansas. After high school, Joyce was a bookkeeper for numerous automobile dealerships. She was active in her neighborhood and community. She had a warm heart, strong Protestant faith, was very caring and known for her great humor.
Survivors include her brothers, Ted Donaldson of Morro Bay, Calif., Charles “Chuck” Donaldson of Franklin, Tenn., Bob (Cherie) Donaldson of Lizton, Ind.; nieces, Lisa, Kelly, Cari, Lynn; nephews: Bert, Brett, Bruce; several great-nieces and nephews and numerous great- greatnieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by one brother, Bert Donaldson, and his wife, Norma; sister-in-law, Kathy Donaldson, and nephew, Bren Donaldson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. on Monday, May 21, 2018, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon St., in Lebanon, Ind., with Rev. Christopher Beasley, Rector officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.

BOLIVAR, Mo .—
age 80, of Bolivar, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Mo.
Her husband, Jim Nobles; parents, Bert and Verma Flowers; her son, James Reynold Nobles III; and a brother, Dennis Flowers preceded her in death.
Glynda was born on Aug. 12, 1937, in Alma, Ark. She was the oldest child of Bert and Verma Flowers. She would marry her soulmate Jim Nobles on Aug. 31, 1957, at the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville and have four children with him. She was a member of the Bolivar United Methodist Church, where she attended regularly as health permitted.
Glynda was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. “Nurse Glynda” had a knack for taking care of those around her and making everyone feel special. People knew her especially well for her sweet and loving personality. She also loved to travel with her family and was especially fond of visiting the gulf coast. She was a gifted artist of numerous mediums and was in the art club for many years. Many witnessed her beautiful voice when she sang in church choir for several years and performed in several plays throughout her life.
Glynda is survived by her three daughters: Kimberly Stanek, Susan ( McMillen) and Bobby Peden, and Nicole and Andy Lukavich; four sisters: Donna and Hugh Higginbotham, Marcia and Bob Nida, Linda Goad and Barbara and Gary Rains; six grandchildren: James Seth Nobles, Tanner and Kinzi McMillen, Jordan Stanek, Trenton Stanek, Anna Logan and Phoebe Lukavich; and two great- granddaughters: Carlei Nobles and Blakely McMillen.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m ., Monday, May 21, 2018, at the United Methodist Church in Bolivar, Mo., with the Reverend David Collum officiating under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar, Mo.
