Primrose Retirement Communities provide a rewarding retirement experience

- BY SARAH HANEY NWA DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE

Primrose Retirement Communities provide affordable senior housing in a modern and pleasant atmosphere. Primrose Retirement has been in operation since 1989. The Rogers community, located at 650 S. Dodson Rd., is the 36th Primrose Retirement Community in the nation and the only one in Arkansas. “We offer Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care,” stated Sales Director Angie Clark. “We have spacious independent villas with two bedrooms, two baths, a sunroom, with one car garage, and a clubhouse which is used for social gatherings. We also have one and two bedroom assisted living apartments.”

Primrose Retirement Community is licensed as a level two assisted living facility. The state of Arkansas has two levels. A level one facility is non-medical. Staff can help with dressing and bathing, but they cannot provide any nursing services. In a level two facility, staff nurses can assist with medication monitoring, and administration along with activities of daily living support. “Primrose Retirement community has nurses who work around the clock, so there is always medical assistance available 24/7,” added Clark. “We also have a separate licensed Memory Care community that is not just a facility but a community which provides a home environment with an activity director and nursing staff.” “We have great staff who provide excellent care and have a passion for seniors.” Primrose Retirement Communities have several living arrangement options, including:

Assisted Living

Primrose Assisted Living is designed for seniors who want the privacy of an apartment home with the security of 24-hour care and service. The bright apartments feature modern amenities and convenience.

Townhome Villas

Spacious and beautiful, and with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, an attached garage and modern amenities, the Primrose lifestyle is a maintenance-free lifestyle. Primrose Townhomes offer the benefits of living near a community of your peers, with the privacy and perks of your own home.

Memory Care

Memory Care at Primrose is designed for seniors who are living with Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia. The key components of the Primrose memory care program are treating all residents as individuals, honoring choices in every encounter, providing a positive and nurturing environment where residents can experience a sense of well-being, and viewing the world from the perspective of a person with dementia.
