FAYETTEVIL­LE — Fleeta Mae Moore Clark, 100, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018, surrounded by her children and grandchild­ren. She was born Feb. 4, 1918, to James Roy and Minta Moore in Pampa, Texas.

Fleeta was a homemaker known for her chicken and dumplings. She retired from Baldwin Piano at age 63, but continued to work in the Green Thumb program until the age of 90.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers and three sisters, husband C.E. Bud Clark, son Gary Joe Clark I, grandson Doug, and great granddaugh­ter Tiffany. Fleeta is survived by sons Gene Clark and his wife Oleta of Cabot, Ark., and Roy Clark and his wife Janis of Bella Vista, Ark.; daughters Muriel Shipley of Fayettevil­le, Tillie Clark of Winslow, Ark., and daughter-in-law Lorene Clark of Winslow, Ark.; eight grandchild­ren; 19 great-grandchild­ren; eight great-great-grandchild­ren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, at Moore’s Chapel Funeral Home in Fayettevil­le. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 13, at 10 a.m. at Farmington Church of Christ with Michael Raine officiatin­g. FAYETTEVIL­LE — Roxy Mae Dunn, age 72, a resident of Fayettevil­le, Ark., passed from this life on June 10, 2018, at her home. She was born Jan. 27, 1946, in Augusta, Ark., to Robert and Lula Mae (Hollister) Haynes. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Florence Marie Haynes. Left to cherish Roxy’s memory are her son, Daniel Dunn; her daughters, Mitzi Nicholas, Lorie Townsend and Amber Moon Dunn; her brother, Harvey Bellas; her sisters, Teresa Steele, Rebecca Covins and Anita Prince; a granddaugh­ter, Cassie Watkins

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Allan Arthur Gilbert Jr. of Fayettevil­le, died Saturday, June 9, 2018, in Fayettevil­le. He was born Oct. 30, 1923, in Fayettevil­le, the son of Dr. Allan A. Gilbert and Lucille Fulbright Gilbert.

Mr. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 49 years, Phyllis Root Gilbert.

A former editor of the Northwest Arkansas Times, he was also an officer of the Fulbright Investment Company and was active in community affairs. He attended Fayettevil­le public schools, the University of Arkansas Training School, Cranbrook Preparator­y School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and the University of Arkansas. He was a member of Sigma Nu and Sigma Delta Chi.

He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. His journalism career included editing military and college publicatio­ns, the Northwest Arkansas Times and as Sunday and city editor of the Fort Lauderdale News in Florida. He was past president of the state Associated Press Managing Editors Associatio­n and a past committee chairman for the Associated Press. He was a prize-winning columnist and editorial writer and the author of A Fulbright Chronicle, a biography of the family of Sen. J. William Fulbright.

A former vice chairman of the city planning commission, he also served on the city Beautifica­tion Committee, the city Arts Center Committee and the Greater Beaver Lake Associatio­n. He was a long-time justice of the peace and held posts with Regional Planning and the EOA. He was a former member of Rotary and an officer of the Fayettevil­le Country Club. He was a past president of the Fayettevil­le Boys Club and of the Ozark Mountain Pro-Am Golf Associatio­n. He was a lifetime member of the Gold Writers Associatio­n of America.

Survivors include a son, Gary of Corpus Christi, Texas; three grandchild­ren and three great-grandchild­ren.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Michael Allen Turner, age 26, of Fayettevil­le, passed away June 5, 2018. Michael was born Aug. 22, 1991, in Clarksvill­e, Ark. He will be greatly missed by his family

and friends. Michael is survived by his mother, Debra Wiley and husband Richard; father, Tracy Turner and wife Vicky; brother, Cecil Turner; grandfathe­r, David Lint; half brother, Billy Turner; half sister, Mary Turner and a host of relatives and friends. GARFIELD — Lamar Roy Bostic, age 69, a resident of Garfield, Ark., passed from this life June 10, 2018, in Rogers, Ark. A witness of Woodstock. One of a generation for the movement of the future. Given a family by Doris Spencer and R.L. Bostic, Lamar Bostic lived an adventure rather than a lifetime. Lamar was born in DeWitt, backpacked through Europe, and landed a daughter, Lilly, in Rogers. With his daughter, he left gentle impression­s on three other children who have given beautiful grandchild­ren. His legacy is not left in bloodline but in memory. Trees root, grow, and fall. ROGERS — Kenneth B. Crutchfiel­d, 88 of Rogers, Ark., passed away Friday, June 8, 2018. Kenneth was born in Tulsa, Okla., to Norris and Kitty Crutchfiel­d.

He was united in marriage to his wife Dorleen for 64 years. Kenneth was a graduate of Will Rogers High School and Oklahoma State University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Artillery

Corps. Kenneth worked for one employer his whole life, Sunoco Oil Company. He retired in 1987 and moved to Rogers, Ark. Kenneth was a volunteer at Rogers Mercy Hospital for 20 years and a lifelong blood donor.

He is survived by his sister, Karen Slater of Kansas City, Kan., and his two sons, David Crutchfiel­d of Plymouth, Mich., and Casey Crutchfiel­d of Rogers, Ark.

Graveside Services will be held at Benton County Memorial Park, Wednesday, June 13 at 1 p. m. He was a kind and gentle man. He will be missed. Arrangemen­ts are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home.

ROGERS — Marcia L. Morrow, 74, of Rogers, Ark., passed away peacefully on June 6, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center after a long fight with pancreatic cancer. She was born March 1, 1944, in Benkelman, Neb., to Fredrick Bader and Lorena O’Donnell.

Marcia was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and loved being a vessel of service for our Lord and Savior. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmothe­r and great-grandmothe­r better known as “GG” to the littles ones. She loved any time spent with family being outdoors and gardening. She was an amazing housekeepe­r, cook and seamstress who delighted in serving others. Her passion for service spoke for itself in her many years with Benton County Angel Tree, Covenant House Ministries and Benton County Right to Life as well as her time as a caregiver with Home Instead Senior Care.

She is survived by her Husband, Jerry L. Morrow of Rogers; sons Philip Brown of Wyoming, Michael Brown, Patrick Brown and Brett Brown of Nebraska, Jason Morrow of Oklahoma; daughters Christine Holm of Rogers, Teresa Upson of Nebraska and Jackie Bassett of Arizona, brother Delmar Bader of Kansas, many grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Robert Brown, sister, Joan Baney, granddaugh­ter, Ashley Bennett, two grandsons, Joshia Peeples and Nicholas Brown.
