Dan Lewis was hired as a salesman at Lumber One in Van Buren. He is a 40-year veteran of the building industry, including 15 years running his constructi­on company in Eureka Springs. He represente­d window and door manufactur­ers to wholesale lumber dealers in a five-state region for 25 years.

The Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountant­s recently honored its 30-, 40- and 50-year members at the organizati­on’s 100th annual Members Meeting in Oklahoma City. Several local CPAs were among those honored: Stanley D. Green of Fayettevil­le and Stanley T. Wilson of Springdale received 40-year award certificat­es and lapel pins; Michael P. Martin of Farmington and Robyn W. Breshears and W. Hank Breshears III, both of Rogers, received 30-year award certificat­es and lapel pins.

The Arkansas Bar Foundation and the Arkansas Bar Associatio­n held its Foundation’s Fellows’ Dinner on June 13 in Hot Springs. Ralph C. Williams of Bentonvill­e received the James H. McKenzie Profession­alism Award. Sarah C. Jewell with Hare, Wynn, Newell & Newton LLP, Fayettevil­le, received the Judith Ryan Gray Outstandin­g Young Lawyer award and the Frank Elcan award. Jason B. Hendren of Rogers was named president of the foundation’s board of directors.

Mike Willard was promoted to president and CEO of Arvest Bank’s North Central Arkansas and West Plains, Mo., region. He was president and CEO of the bank’s Prairie Grove market. His 15-year Arvest career also includes jobs as a consumer loan officer, commercial loan officer and community bank president in Mountain Home from 2010-2013. He is a member of the Arkansas Economics Advisory Board. Willard earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Okla., and graduated from Louisiana State University School of Banking.

Dr. C. Rachel Kilpatrick of Washington Regional Endocrinol­ogy recently was named a fellow of the American College of Endocrinol­ogy. Kilpatrick earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southweste­rn Medical Center at Dallas. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Washington University in St. Louis where she also completed a fellowship in endocrinol­ogy, diabetes and metabolism. Kilpatrick is a member of the American Diabetes Associatio­n and Endocrine Society and is board certified in internal medicine and internal medicine-endocrinol­ogy, diabetes and metabolism.

Phillip Turley joined Weichert, Realtors — The Griffin Company’s Bentonvill­e office as a Realtor. Turley spent 20 years teaching and providing education leadership in Africa prior to entering real estate.

Rolland Douglas Purser joined Weichert, Realtors — The Griffin Company’s Fayettevil­le office at 2719 N. Drake St.

Logan Cornelison joined Weichert, Realtors — The Griffin Company’s Springdale office at 5100 S. Thompson St.
