ROGERS — Beverly Joy Peters Gentry, July 23, 1933 - July 7, 2018. A celebratio­n service will be held on Saturday, July 14, at 11 a.m., at Fellowship Bible Church, 1051 W. Pleasant Grove Road, Rogers. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to Samaritan Community Center (www.samcc.org).

ROGERS — Thelma Graham, 99, of Rogers, Ark., and lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas passed away peacefully, July 12, 2018, at her residence. She was born Dec. 17, 1918, in Monte Ne, Ark., to Ernest Wiseley and Naomi Belcher Wiseley.

She was a significan­t part of establishi­ng the local women’s Democratic Party in Benton County. She worked numerous political events and dedicated many hours of community service. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, dominoes and spending time with her family.

She was a true artist and captured much of Northwest Arkansas’ history, to include downtown Rogers and Eden’s Bluff. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Rogers and was a Sunday School teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, E.H. “Pete” Graham; daughter, Janice Graham McDaniel and one brother, Roy Wiseley.

Thelma is survived by three grandchild­ren, Shari Carter Short and husband, Scott of Bentonvill­e, Ark., Pam Scruggs Hill and husband, Paul of Rogers, Scott Graham McDaniel of Pineville, Mo.; two great-grandchild­ren, Arissa Sanders and husband, Dave, Kaleb Hill; one greatgreat grandchild, Brantley Sanders and four treasured great-grandchild­ren by marriage, Misty Turner, Brittany Jones, Stormy Short and Kate Short.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers with Pastor Wes George officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time.

ROGERS — Mark Ward, 54, of Rogers, died July 10. Survivors are a son, Morris Ward; a daughter, Ciera Chancellor; a brother and four sisters. A celebratio­n of life will be held at a later date. SPRINGDALE — Dorothy L. Crow, 77, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She was born on Jan. 18, 1941, in Reeds, Mo., a daughter of Oliver Benton Maggard and Ina Marriette (Pennington) Maggard.

She married the love of her life, Dale J. Crow on Aug. 31, 1957. She retired from Shelter Insurance. Her and Dale then began working for the Corp of Engineers doing what they love, camping and enjoying nature all while passing on this love to all they encountere­d.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren. She never met a stranger nor anyone she didn’t like. She lived life to the fullest, loved fearlessly, lived happily.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Gaylen Lemons; and one sister, Ada Todd.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Dale J. Crow of the home; one daughter, Gloria Wood of Memphis, Tenn.; five grandchild­ren, Leslie Phommachak and husband Bay, Lindsey Ardale and husband Jack, Blake Wood and wife Laurie, Nicholas Wood and Ashley Wood; six great grandchild­ren, Jonathan Phommachak, Aliyah Phommachak, Aylen Ardale, Eliza Wood, Maddox Wood and Cooper Kurtz; one brother, Harold Maggard and wife Patty; three sisters, Wilma Duke, Ina Eldreth and husband Blaine and Loretta Weeks and husband James; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the BackstromP­yeatte Funeral Home in Springdale, Arkansas.
