FAYETTEVIL­LE — Hunter Watts, age 20, of Fayettevil­le, Ark., passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, in Fayettevil­le. Hunter was born Feb. 23, 1998, in Rogers, Ark., to Ben and AnnMarie Watts. He enjoyed his work as a machinist with ARMI. ROGERS — Rolland “Curly” Prim, 74, of Rogers, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, in Fayettevil­le. He was born March 7, 1944, to Cecil and Hilda Prim. He was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Mae Prim. Survivors include four children, one brother, and several grandchild­ren. She was born Sept. 13, 1935, in Berryville, Ark., the daughter of the late Henry and Mattie Denny Stewart. She attended Calvary Freewill Baptist Church and retired as a cook for the Springdale Public Schools after 30 years of service. She enjoyed camping and loved spending time with her children, grandchild­ren and family. Myra was preceded in death by two daughters, Tracy Beal and Leonda Otis; siblings. Charlie Stewart, Cleo Stewart, Melvin Stewart, Eldon Stewart, Keith Stewart, Wayne Stewart and Wanda Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Leon Beal of the home; daughters, Judi Ocampo and husband Jacob of Springdale, Ark., and Lisa Adams and husband Linn of Bella Vista, Ark.; seven grandchild­ren, 10 great-grandchild­ren; one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was born Aug. 20, 1934, in Indianapol­is, Ind., to Theodore and Kathryn Hagen May. She was a member of the First United Presbyteri­an Church in Fayettevil­le and an elder in the Presbyteri­an Church (USA). She is survived by her husband David T. Clay, sister-in-law Darla May, niece Kathy May, and nephew Craig May of Indianapol­is, Ind. David has two sons, Jeffrey Clay (wife Erin) of Sitka, Alaska, and Matthew Clay (wife Gina) of Fayettevil­le, Ark., and two grandchild­ren, Julianna and Magdalena Clay. Anne loved people of all ages, showing it most readily with a beautiful smile that lit up her whole face. She was a trusted friend, mentor, and confidant to many young women and men who were challenged with tough life situations. As a Head Start teacher in Paducah, Ky., Anne provided preschool children with safe environmen­ts and creative surroundin­gs that enabled them to learn as best they could. She encouraged many senior adults to enjoy life as an activity director for a retirement community in Orlando, Fla. Anne also worked as a marketing specialist for Bell South. She enjoyed volunteeri­ng for several organizati­ons while living in Paducah, Orlando, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Portland, Ore. Through all these endeavors she developed long-lasting friendship­s. To place an online tribute visit www.nelsonbern­a.com. SPRINGDALE — Hazle Louise Frisby left this world to be with her Lord and Saviour on Aug. 24, 2018. The day that she longed for is finally here. Hazle was born March 5, 1936, in Loy, Ark.; to Fred and Rosie Casteel Pharris. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Freddie Hughe Pharris. Hazel is survived by her husband, Gerald, of the home; two sisters, Jannie Marie Rogers of Wichita Falls, Texas; and Billie Joe Parker of Ozark, Mo.; one son, Herman Frisby of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; one daughter, Terry Douthit and husband Carroll of Springdale, Ark.; five grandchild­ren, and nine great-grandchild­ren. Hazle’s joy was her family, church family, and friends. She enjoyed doing for others and always put everyone else above herself. She loved working in the church and helping wherever she could. Hazle worked as a seamstress and drove a school bus. She loved everyone with all her heart and will be dearly missed by all. Services will be Aug. 31, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Calvary Church in Springdale, Ark., with Pastor Clark Snow officiatin­g. Visitation will be Aug. 30, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. at Calvary Church. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville. SPRINGDALE — Sandra Ann Green, 70, of Springdale, Ark., went to be with Jesus Aug. 25, 2018. She was born Sept. 22, 1947, in Heber Springs, Ark., the daughter of the late Leonard and Laverne Harness. Sandra worked profession­ally many of her younger years as an executive secretary for Tyson Foods and Harps Food Stores. Up until she retired, she was the church secretary for St. Thomas Episcopal Church for 22 years. Once retired, she continued working in her community at the polls during election season. She attended New Hope Fellowship in Springdale and was a treasured member of the church serving at the House of Hope. Sandra loved doing for others and spent much of her life ministerin­g in service and volunteeri­sm. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, seeing movies with her husband, and especially going to garage sales and resale shops with her cousin Hazel. Nine times out of 10, those purchases were for others, but she got equally as excited about a great deal on a purse or pair of shoes at Dillard’s! She was an amazing cook, loving and attentive Nana, fiercely competitiv­e Pitch player, beloved wife and admired mother. Sandra’s life was lived out for others and she was always described as sweet by those that knew her. She was cherished and will be missed by many, but most of all by her family. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Green of the home; daughters Kelli Van Ess (Jeff) of Everett, Wash., Kari Mays (Nathan) of Springdale, Ark.; son Jon Green of Springdale, Ark.; her brother, Stanley (Miriam) Harness of Rogers; her sister, Joan Harness of Springdale; five grandchild­ren, Dallas Van Ess, Ashlynn Mayes, Davis Van Ess, Dalton Van Ess, and Drake Mayes. She was very proud of her grandkids and made each moment she spent with them special. SPRINGDALE — Michael Moffatt, 63, of Springdale, passed away Aug. 27, 2018, at his home. He was born March 30, 1955, in Las Cruces, N.M., to William and Sarah Glover Moffatt. Michael worked for Walmart. He enjoyed fishing and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Collins, and brother Clay Moffatt. NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. — June Elaine Murrell, 83, passed away peacefully Aug. 23, 2018, at home in North Las Vegas, Nev. She was born June 14, 1935, in Reagan, Texas, to Charles and Lora Ferguson, and married Roy A. Murrell, Jr., Sept. 10, 1952, and had one daughter, Marilyn Ann. She worked for Reid Holiman of Holiman’s Drug Store for approximat­ely 20 years and was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Lora Ferguson; brothers Grady, Winston and Charles Ferguson and her husband, Roy A. Murrell Jr. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Archie Stanford of North Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Shirley Paolini of Birds Landing, Calif., and one brother, Don Ferguson of Goshen, Ark., and many nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be noon Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, at Friendship Cemetery with Ray Main officiatin­g.
