ELI BOLTON, Fort Smith Northside, rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown as the Grizzlies improved to 2-0 with a 31-16 victory over Greenwood.

DARIUS BOWERS, Fayettevil­le, completed 24-of-36 for 376 yards and two touchdowns, then ran for three more scores to lift the Purple’Dogs past defending Oklahoma 6A-1 state champion Owasso.

HARRISON CAMPBELL, Bentonvill­e High, caught five passes for 205 yards and a touchdown in the Tigers’ 24-21 loss at Conway.

PRESTON CRAWFORD, Bentonvill­e High, ran for 97 yards and two touchdowns as the Tigers fell short in a road game against Conway.

DARIN DAVENPORT, Fort Smith Southside, had two intercepti­ons and returned the first one 22 yards for a touchdown in his return after missing all of last season with a knee injury.

TAYE GATEWOOD, Fort Smith Southside, completed 12 of 16 passes for 172 yards and a touchdown and added 14 carries for 59 yards and a score in the Mavericks’ season-opening victory.

ERIC HILL, Farmington, threw for two touchdown passes and ran for another in the Cardinals’ 33-30 victory over Prairie Grove.

GABE HUSKEY, Harrison, caught four passes for 215 yards and 2 TDs, then added 87 yards on 11 carries as the Goblins improved to 2-0 with a win over Mountain Home.

BEN JOHNSON, Harrison, completed 8 of 10 passes for 319 yards and 5 touchdowns — all in the first half — as the Goblins rolled past Mountain Home.

QUINN McCLAIN, Elkins, completed 16 for 26 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two more scores in the Elks’ 48-28 victory over Greenland.

DALTON McDONALD, Bentonvill­e West, filled in for the injured Will Jarrett and completed 16 of 23 passes for 2709 yards and two touchdowns.

JACOB PARMENTER, Lamar, ran for 84 yards and a touchdown and added a touchdown reception in the Warriors’ 191-8 victory over Danville.

RICARDO SAVOY, Fort Smith Southside, ran 17 times for 239 yards and three TDs and added a 76-yard reception for a score in a 44-31 victory over Bentonvill­e West.

EVAN SCHLINKER, Booneville, was a perfect 4-for-4 passing for 82 yards and three touchdowns in the Bearcats’ 42-20 victory over Ozarks.

TYRESE SMALLWOOD, Bentonvill­e West, caught four passes for 119 yards and 2 TDs, then added 52 yards rushing and a score in the Wolverines’ loss.

BO STUCKEY, Fayettevil­le, hauled in touchdown passes of 73 and 76 yards in the Purple’Dogs’ victory over Owasso, Okla.

KAIDEN THRAILKILL, Siloam Springs, rushed 18 times for 123 yards and three touchdowns and recovered a fumble on defense in the Panthers’ 38-21 win at Pryor, Okla.

GARRETT VAUGHN, Springdale High, carried the ball 23 times for 117 yards and two first-half touchdowns as the Bulldogs knocked off Little Rock Parkview.
