ROGERS — A boil order has been issued for Rogers Water Utilities customers from the Prairie Creek area to east of the Arkansas 12 bridge over Beaver Lake.

Areas along Arkansas 12 east of Dream Valley Road including Beaver Shores and in and around Prairie Creek are also affected, according to a news release.

“As a precaution, all affected customers are advised that the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water be used for making ice. As an alternative, bottled water may be used,” the news release states.
