Personal space
Where I live: In a cozy North Little Rock neighborhood with my husband, three children and our pup Trixie.
Occupation: I am a Diamond Ambassador with Plexus Worldwide. I am blessed to work from home helping people achieve health and financial freedom.
My favorite space is: The main living space downstairs.
Why? It is where we spend the majority of our time eating, relaxing and entertaining. It is my major “hub” for all things “Mom!”
The 10-foot island is where we eat dinner every night and is where we all tend to congregate the most. The space has fluid access to the outdoors; by opening both sets of French doors, I have more space for entertaining on our back patio. Doors and windows provide natural light, making it feel cheery and warm; they also provide me full visibility when my kids play outside.
Even my office is a part of this space. I can work from my desk upstairs and still be a part of what is going on downstairs.
Aesthetically, I prefer a simple, minimal and clean look with durable, functional furniture. It helps to make my home life feel streamlined and organized despite the crazy atmosphere.
If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: Have the same design with some sound control from my three loud kids!
