Critical violations are defined as items relating directly to factors that lead to food-borne illness and must be corrected immediately. Noncritical violations are defined as items that relate to maintenance of food operations and cleanliness.

BENTON COUNTY

Aug. 31 Hiwasse Store 13471 W. Arkansas 72, Hiwasse Critical violations: Employee entered kitchen and did not wash hands before starting food preparation. Employee made bare-hand contact with food.

Noncritical violations: None Sept. 2 The Walmart AMP 5079 W. Northgate Road, Rogers Critical violations: Employee is not able to wash hands between glove changes and after handling raw steak and ready-to-eat foods in the Philly cheese steak tent. Some of the food service and beverage tents do not have a handwashing sink; there were no paper towels at a handwashing sink in Building E.

Noncritical violations: There was no thermometer in the walk-in cooler. There were no test strips for quaternary ammonia in the VIP kitchen. Door frames in Buildings E and B need repair. Eighth St., Rogers Critical violations: There was no soap or paper towels at the handwashing sink near the three-compartment sink; the handwashing sink near the ice machine is not being maintained.
