Kentucky blanks Arkansas

Junior Rachel Rippee had a milestone match, notching 16 assists to move to fifth place in program history for career assists, but the University of Arkansas fell to No. 19 Kentucky 25-14, 26-24, 25-17 on Friday in Lexington, Ky.

Okiana Valle had 12 digs, and Kelly O’Brien added 10 kills for the Razorbacks (6-7, 0-3 SEC).

Hardin keys Harding victory

Zoe Hardin had 14 kills and 7 blocks, and hit .500 to pace Harding University in a 25-15, 25-11, 25-16 victory over East Central (Okla.) on Friday in Searcy.

Rachel Heussner had 33 assists and 10 digs, and Taylor Lake had 13 digs for the Lady Bisons (11-6, 6-0 GAC).

SAU falls to Northweste­rn Oklahoma State

Morgan Gross had 13 kills and 3 blocks for Southern Arkansas University in a 25-23, 25-21, 25-22 loss to Northweste­rn Oklahoma State on Friday in Magnolia.

Seven Powers had 8 kills, and Lexi Kruse had 25 assists for the Muleriders (6-12, 1-5 GAC).

HSU rallies past Oklahoma Baptist

Henderson State University dropped the opening set before rallying to take the next three en route to a 16-25, 25-19, 2522, 25-18 victory over Oklahoma Baptist University on Friday in Arkadelphi­a.

Adrianna Hartmann had 13 kills and a .619 attacking percentage to lead the Reddies (16-3, 5-1 GAC). Courtney Bolf had 13 kills and 13 digs, and Karlie Greene added 12 kills. Gigi Garramone had a team-high 15 digs.

ATU rolls past Southeaste­rn Oklahoma

Greer Rogers notched 11 kills and hit .435, and Emily Acker dished out 50 assists in Arkansas Tech University’s 25-19, 1925, 25-18, 25-18 victory over Southeaste­rn Oklahoma State on Friday in Russellvil­le. Meredith Darnell had 17 digs for the Golden Suns (11-7, 4-2 GAC).

ASU gets 2 victories in Samford Hidden Dual

Arkansas State University opened competitio­n at the Samford Hidden Dual on Friday with one singles victory and one doubles victory.

Shannon O’Brien defeated Dominika Harbalova of Alabama-Birmingham 6-2, 6-2, and O’Brien and Shelby King topped Samford’s Elsa Pool and Natalia De Ugarte 6-4.

Rowlands, Ward advance at ITA regionals

The Arkansas Tech University duo of Annabel Rowlands and Kami Ward advanced in doubles play, and Haeleigh Long moved on in singles play on the first day of the ITA Regionals on Friday in Oklahoma City.

Rowlands and Ward, the No. 23 seed, defeated No. 24 seed Mayra Jovic and Karla Tomaic of Northeaste­rn State 9-7 to advance to the round of 16.

In group B singles play, No. 46 seed Long defeated No. 45 seed Jaquenline Chavert of Oklahoma Baptist 6-1, 6-2.

Arkansas fifth in Wisconsin invitation­al

The University of Arkansas finished fifth with 173 points at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitation­al in Madison, Wis., on Friday.

In the A section of the meet, Katrina Robinson led the Razorbacks with an eighth-place finish in 19:55, and Micah Huckabee finished 10th in the B section with a time of 21:24.7.

MEN’S GOLF Arkansas fourth in New Mexico

University of Arkansas junior Mason Overstreet birdied two of his last five holes and is tied for sixth at 3 under after two rounds Friday, while fellow juniors Luis Garza and Tyson Reeder are 2-under par and tied for eighth, to lead the No. 19 Razorbacks to a fourth-place standing at the William H. Tucker Intercolle­giate in Albuquerqu­e, N.M.
