FAYETTEVILLE — Angela Marie Eiland, age 60, of Fayetteville died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 27, 1958, in Prairie Grove to Donald and Alice Caler Couch.
Angela retired from Pinnacle Foods after more than 34 years. She enjoyed gardening, canning tomatoes, pickles, plum jelly and tending to her farm animals. She loved going to the casino and was frequently lucky.
She was preceded in death by her father Donald Couch. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Eiland of the home; son David Uhl and
wife Ellen Thompson of Watsonville, Calif.; her mother, Alice Couch of Elkins; brother Kenny Couch and wife K’Dora of Elkins; two sisters, Kathy Hunnicutt of St. Paul and Donna Bright and husband Jimmy of Elkins and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at Round Mountain Community Cemetery, 14535 Round Mountain Community Road, with Rev. Bob Holland officiating. Interment will follow. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville. Online condolences may be made to www. beardsfuneralchapel.com. LOWELL — Steven Sean Lackey, age 50, of Lowell passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, in Springdale. He was born Sept. 23, 1968, in Huntsville, Ark., the son of Lee Ray and Peggy Sue Morris Lackey. He was preceded in death by his father. He worked as a custodian for Springdale Public Schools. He had a love for cars especially Mustangs. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Sue Lackey of Lowell; a brother, Ronnie Lackey of Springdale and numerous other family members. SILOAM SPRINGS — Timothy Jake Dixon passed away from this life into Heaven’s arms on Oct. 4, 2018, at his home. He was born in Siloam Springs on Aug. 16, 1962.
Tim is survived by his mother, Donetta Samuels and father Tom Dixon and wife Alice Dixon of Springfield, Ark. Tim has one sister and three brothers, Susan (Dean) Miller, David Dixon, Mike (Jennifer) Samuels all of Siloam Springs and Marty (Jennifer) Samuels of Russellville, Arkansas.
Tim was a graduate of Siloam Springs High School. He also served in the U.S. Army. Tim’s passion was working on old cars. Tim loved passing out candy, visiting and telling jokes to his family and friends
around town.
Tim was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident in 1990 where he suffered a severe head injury. Tim spent six weeks in a coma and two years in rehabilitation. Tim was a fighter and exceeded all expectations. He knew no limitations with his disability. He was able to live inde- pendently and drove his little truck for the past 25 years. Tim loved First Christian Church where he has been a member for over 40 years.
