The Osher Lifelong Institute at the University of Arkansas announces the following classes: ■ Oct. 10, 17, 24, 31; Nov 7: “Basic Digital Photograph­y” taught by profession­al photograph­er Diana Hausem. Class meets for five weeks; $65 members/$80 nonmembers.

■ Oct. 11: “Clinton National Airport: Behind the Scenes.” Visit the state’s largest/busiest airport on this all day excursion to Little Rock. $50 members/$65 nonmembers; “Finding and Crafting Personal Stories.” Leave a legacy for your family by writing stories of your life. $30 members/$45 nonmembers; “Does the University Really Need My Money? The State of Higher Education Fundraisin­g and Finance” taught by Dean Mike Miller of the College of Education & Health Profession­s. $25 members/$40 nonmembers.

■ Oct. 11 or 12: “Which Are the Ten Commandmen­ts?” $35 members/$50 non-members.

■ Oct. 12 and 13: “Abstracts & Special Effects In-Camera.” Learn in-camera techniques to produce unique and creative images. $75 members/$90 nonmembers. ■ Oct 15: “Across the Fence — A Peek at ‘The Farm’.” Visit the University Farm and learn what goes on. $22 members only.

■ Oct. 16: “Nestbox Monitoring: A Lifeline to Cavity Nesting Birds.” Learn how to help fledge healthy nestlings from your boxes. $31 members/$46 nonmembers.
