“I found what I was looking for, to be honest,” Walker said of Arkansas.

ESPN rates Walker a four-star prospect, the

No. 31 defensive end and No. 263 overall prospect in the 2019 class. The highlight of the trip was the game Saturday.

“The game, just seeing Arkansas fight and being explosive against Alabama,” Walker said. “I really liked it.”

He recorded 69 tackles, 23 for loss, 9 sacks, 8 quarterback hurries, 3 forced fumbles and a recovered fumble as a junior. Junior defensive tackle T.J. Smith hosted Walker.

“He said I’m going to love it,” Walker said. “He had a great freshman and sophomore year. He said what you see is what you get.”

Walker, whose lead recruiter is defensive tackles coach John Scott Jr., is the fourth four-star defensive end to pledge to the Hogs.

He’s the No. 21 commitment for the 2019 class. Oral commitments are nonbinding.
