WASHINGTON COUNTY

Washington Regional Pastoral Care Department, 3 E. Appleby Road, Suite 102, Fayetteville, will offer a grief support group for women who have experienced loss through stillbirth or miscarriage.

The support group will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Sundays. It will be led by Chaplain Jacqueline Eakens of the Benton County Sheriff’s Department.

BENTON COUNTY

First Baptist Church in Rogers, 3364 W. Pleasant Grove Road, will once again deliver Thanksgiving meals to those in need and homebound. The packaged meal will include ham, green beans, potatoes and gravy, dressing, a roll and dessert.

Deliveries will be made within the Rogers city limits between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Nov. 22. To reserve meals, call 636-3451 beginning Nov. 12.

Brightwater Memorial United Methodist Church in Rogers, 14108 E. U.S. 62, will serve its annual Thanksgiving meal at noon Nov. 15. All are welcome for a traditional Thanksgiving meal at no cost.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County, 1400 W. Walnut, No. 113, Rogers, will “ponder how the lives of our ancestors have influenced our lives and to reflect on our ongoing spiritual relationship with them” during Sunday’s 11 a.m. service.

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., has tickets on sale for the Christmas tea. Seatings are at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Dec. 1. Tickets cost $10.

The church hosts the Bella Vista Christian Women’s Connection at 9 a.m. Nov. 13. The featured speaker is Bella Vista Garden Club member and Master Gardner, Geri Hoerner; she will be speaking on “Getting Your Plants Ready For Winter.” The guest speaker is Carrie Kittinger, from Tulsa, Okla. and the title of her talk is “Broken Hearts Can Be Mended.”

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., opens its Shepherd’s Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon each Friday. Holiday donations are needed, including canned pumpkin, condensed milk and canned cranberry sauce.

An Inquirer’s Class meets on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. in the church library. This class gives people an opportunity to learn about the church, how it operates and the Lutheran Doctrine.

A new Wednesday night class, meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m., studies “The Yoga of Jesus” by Paramahansa Yogananda. A 15-minute meditation follows.

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., offers a Ladies’ Bible Study titled “The Grace of God” at 9 a.m. Nov. 13. Women from the community are welcome to attend.

Also on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., a men’s bible study will meet in the Oasis Center, studying the book of Daniel. The White Cross Women’s Mission ministry and the ladies’ KniTTogether ministry will also meet at 7 p.m. The ladies enjoy informal fellowship while working on projects that benefit needy children and adults in our area as well as a hospital in Congo. Any ladies from the community are welcome to come and learn more about these ministries.

The Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 14. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers. A potluck fellowship dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, and the community is always welcome. At 6:30 p.m., there will be singing, devotions and prayer for adults in the Worship Center. The community is always welcome, and a nursery for infants and toddlers is available.
