ARKANSAS vs. AUBURN: HOW WE SEE IT

-

CLAY HENRY, HAWGS ILLUSTRATED

Yes, this will be the last home game for these struggling Razorbacks. That should inspire. They didn’t have their edge against Vanderbilt. They have two weeks to find it, but they’ll need more than that against the Tigers. Bigger and more physical seems the right description for the Tigers. LSU, 31-12

Even though LSU will be coming off the Alabama game, it’s not going to be enough this year. The Razorbacks will be much better next year, but this is mismatch this year. LSU 51-17. MATT JONES, WHOLE HOG SPORTS

LSU wasn’t as strong as Alabama along the line of scrimmage, but the Tigers are at least comparable to Auburn and Vanderbilt, which beat the Razorbacks up front. It’s hard to win when you lose at the line of scrimmage. LSU 41-13 BART POHLMAN, SPORTS TALK WITH BO

With a bowl game now no longer even the slightest of possibilities, there’s nothing left for Arkansas to play for besides pride. That won’t be enough against a legit LSU team that should be able to name the score. LSU, 41-13

BO MATTINGLY, SPORTS TALK WITH BO

A bye week and LSU having to play Alabama the week before won’t be enough to make up the talent difference this time. LSU is bigger, stronger and faster, but it might be closer than some expect. LSU, 27-17

TOMMY CRAFT, ESPN ARKANSAS

Arkansas will be healthier after the bye, but that won’t be enough. LSU will be too much at the line of scrimmage for this Arkansas team. LSU, 52-14 SCOTTIE BORDELON, WHOLE HOG SPORTS

Competent quarterback play and a decent running game is the name of the game when facing Arkansas this season. LSU has that, plus one of the top defenses in the country. LSU, 34-10 HARRY KING, HAWGS ILLUSTRATED

The LSU defense is one of the best in the country. Period. LSU, 20-10
