HARRISON — Camille

Cheryl Turner, passed peacefully on November 17, 2018, following a brave struggle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born in Newark, Ohio on December 19, 1948 to Robert and Jane Marsh.

Camille experienced a beautiful and educating life. Upon graduation from Madera High School in California and Atlantic School in Kansas City, Camille began her flight attendant career with Braniff Airlines in 1967. International flights were her favorite. Through the years she enjoyed riding horses (equestrian), fishing, hunting, gourmet recipes, gardening, and golf. Traveling, shopping, and fine restaurants “may” have ranked at the top. Camille owned a design company and assisted many with their landscape and décor renovations. The lady had a flair for entertaining and decorating.

This may come as a surprise to some; as her politics leaned 120% to the Republican Party.

Camille was a beautiful, private, and compassionate woman. She represented the local and state Republican Women’s Party and loved working with the Ozark Humane Society.

Camille is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Bobby and Jerry.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; and stepson, Drew.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Holt Memorial Chapel.

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — Muriel Jean (Mickey)

Theall Smith (nee Gillies), a longtime resident of Eureka Springs, died peacefully in East Stroudsburg, Penn., on November 3, 2018. Born in Houston, Texas, Mickey was a graduate of Dominican College in Houston. She married T. Robert (Bob) Theall, who passed away in 1970. She later married Ronald R. (Ron) Smith, and they raised their combined seven children in Houston before retiring to Eureka Springs in 1981. Mickey spent several years working for the Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce, and continued to be busy even in retirement. She was an avid bridge player, active member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, ECHO, the Ozarks Chorale and Carnegie Public Library. Advancing dementia forced her move closer to family in late 2017, but the last year was as full and happy as possible.

Preceded in death by Bob Theall, Ron Smith and son Kevon, Mickey is survived by children Ron, Susie, Erick, Lyle, Karen and Craig, their spouses and significant others, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Eureka Springs, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, with luncheon to follow at the Parish Center on Passion Play Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Mickey’s honor to the Carnegie Public Library, 194 Spring Street, Eureka Springs, Ark., 72632.
