GIRLS Elkins 33, Prairie Grove 29

Carla Burton and Konley Kestner scored seven points apiece to lead Elkins past Prairie Grove on Friday in a low-scoring game.

Elkins (5-2) outscored Prairie Grove 16-8 in the third quarter after trailing 7-6 at halftime. Emily Grant finished with 10 points to lead the Lady Tigers (3-2).

Elkins girls (5-2) defeated Prairie Grove (3-2) 33-29.

Paragould 46, Van Buren 40

Paragould outscored the Lady Pointers 15-6 in the fourth quarter to claim a comeback win in the Greene County Tech Tournament.

Zoey Beasley scored 21 points for Paragould. Lexie Miller and Emmalee Green scored 10 points each for Van Buren, who will return to action in the Tournament of Champions in Fort Smith on Thursday against Moore, Okla., at 4 p.m.

Mt. Vernon 56, Springdale Har-Ber 40

The Lady Wildcats fell in the Carthage (Mo.) Tournament on Saturday.

Caylan Koons scored 14 points for Har-Ber, and Sophie Nelson added 10. Willard, Mo. 76, Bentonvill­e West 70

West took a 53-47 into the fourth quarter but couldn’t hang on as the Lady Wolverines had back-to-back losses to end the Willard Tri-State Classic.

Kelsie Mahone had 16 points to lead four West players in double figures. Kelsie Wood added 15 while Shania Wilson and Jada Curtis added 10 apiece.

Wilson and Anna Kash were named to the all-tournament team.

BOYS

Springdale High 55, Lebannon, Mo. 42

The Bulldogs went 2-1 in the Republic (Mo.) Tournament after knocking off Lebannon on Saturday.

Jujuan Boyd scored 25 points to lead Springdale High (2-1) and Vincent Mason
