BELLA VISTA — Nolinda Jane Nanney, 74 of Bella Vista, Ark., died on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at Circle of Life Hospice, Legacy Village, Bentonville, Ark. She was born on Jan. 29, 1944, in Harrison, Ark., to Nolan Carroll Jr. and Bonnie Juanita Yarbrough Carroll Epling.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, James V. Epling. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jarrel P. Nanney; her son, Jarrell L. Nanney of Huntsville, Ala., and her daughter, Patrice Jane Kelleher with her husband James of Santa Clarita, Calif.; three grandchildren, Joseph Patrick Kelleher, William Ryan Kelleher, and Caroline Ansley Kelleher.
Jane was a member of the Lovely Purchase Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution.
Visitation will be Dec. 17, 2018, at noon with the service at 1 p.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home, Bella Vista, Ark. ELKINS — Alma Jeanette Hulsey, 88, of Elkins passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, at her home. She was born May 13, 1930, in Holmes County, Fla., to Ira Register and Gussie Mae Caulk-Register.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) D. Hulsey and son Robert D. Hulsey. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elkins.
Survivors include her two daughters, Karen Pritchard (Bill) of Elkins and Kathy Pianalto (Randy) of Springdale; son David B. Hulsey (Carol) of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Laren L. Vaught, Jake Pianalto, Clay Pianalto, Ashley Hulsey; six great grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.

FAYETTEVILLE — Joe Kelly, age 94, of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, in Springdale. He was born Feb. 5, 1924, in Fayetteville the son of Frank and Maude Gibson Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janie Louise Kelly; three brothers, Roland, Frankie and Leonard and a sister, Arline.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked his entire life as a stone mason. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved garden work but most of all he loved his grandkids.
He is survived by a two sons Joey Kelly of Fayetteville and Johnny Kelly of Woodland, Calif.; three daughters Linda Kay, Betty and Norma; grandchildren, Tasha Ralston and Debretta Verser; 13 great-grandchildren and numerous other family members.

FAYETTEVILLE — Voyle Blevins “Butch” Mitchell, age 70, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, in Fayetteville. He was born Jan. 6, 1948, in Fort Smith, Ark., the son of John D. and Arvina Blevins Mitchell.
After serving in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, he returned to Northwest Arkansas to raise his family. While undeniably stoic in the face of challenges, he reserved his emotions for his children and grandchildren, all of which he was immensely proud.
He loved sports, especially coaching his children and grandchildren in official and unofficial capacities. He also took great pleasure (and pain) following the Razorbacks, and he took particular joy in watching the University of Texas football team’s most recent loss. In 2010 he retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fayetteville after 44 years of service. His laugh will be remembered most of all.
He is survived by three daughters, Sheila Mitchell of Fayetteville, Julie Worlow and her husband Brett of Fayetteville and Kristy Wolfenbarger and her husband Gary of Fayetteville; a son, Keith Starnes and his wife Jennifer of Fayetteville; a sister, Flora June Lyon of Farmington; a brother, Bob Mitchell and his wife Carolyn of Fort Worth, Texas, and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1 p.m.-2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at Moore’s Chapel followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Son’s Chapel Cemetery.

GRAVETTE — Linda Meeker, age 75, of Gravette, passed away Dec. 12, 2018. Linda was born Aug. 11, 1943, in Spencerville, Ohio, to parents Jake Seibert and Patricia McCullough Seibert. She was a member of the Radiant Life Church in Bentonville and enjoyed volunteering at the church thrift store. Linda also worked for the Bentonville School system where she assisted in the special needs programs.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons, Tom Meeker and wife Wendy of Oktaha, Okla., Tim Meeker and wife Diane of Muskogee, Okla., Bill Meeker of Gravette, Ark., Toby Meeker and wife Karla of Coweta, Okla.; nine grandchildren, Ashley, Heather, TR, Kyndra, Garrett, Mason, Cortney, Tobi, Grace and a host of great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. A visitation is set for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home chapel. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut St., Rogers.
HUNTSVILLE — Noble “Tobe” B. Bohannan, 105, of Huntsville; died Dec. 12, 2018. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Dec. 15, 2018, at Brashears Funeral Home with interment at Alabam Cemetery.

SULPHUR SPRINGS — Elizabeth “Betty” Newell, long-time resident of Sulphur Springs, passed away Monday, Dec. 10 at Innisfree Nursing Facility in Rogers, Ark.
She was preceded in death by husband, Jack Newell as well as her parents, Joseph and Carry Bennett, nine brothers and three sisters.
Betty was born in Independence, Mo., and raised in Kansas City, Mo., where she met and married Jack. They moved with their three children to Sulphur Springs in 1976. Betty was a long-time city clerk-recorder for the city of Sulphur Springs, while husband Jack, a retired firefighter, was a long-time fire chief for the Sulphur Springs Fire Department.
Upon her retirement, Betty assisted with the opening of the Sulphur Springs Library, and was an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and Friendly Neighbors Club of Sulphur Springs.
Survivors include Linda (Carl) Bromley of Lowell, John (Martha) Newell of Westfork, and Diane (John) Mack of Omaha, Neb.; grandchildren Christie, Codie, Jessica (Troy), Emily, bonus grandchildren Jason (Christi) Bromley, Amanda (Chuck) Hammons, and Heather (Adam) Bowlin; three great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Syrus, and Jackson as well as seven bonus great-grandchildren.
