WASHINGTON COUNTY

Washington Regional Pastoral Care Department, 3 E. Appleby Road, Suite 102, Fayettevil­le, will offer a grief support group for women who have experience­d loss through stillbirth or miscarriag­e.

The group will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. every Sunday. It will be led by Jacqueline Eakens, chaplain of the Benton County Sheriff’s Department.

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., hosts the Bella Vista Community Band at 3 p.m. Sunday in the sanctuary. Cookie, cider and coffee will be served at 2 p.m.

The Christmas Eve candleligh­t communion service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Dec. 24.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts a Christmas Eve candleligh­t worship service at 6 p.m. Dec. 24 with the Christmas Day worship service at 10 a.m. Dec. 25.

On Dec. 30, there will be only one worship service at 9:30 a.m. New Year’s Eve service is at 6 p.m.

The Family Life Ministry Team is again collecting caps and mittens for school children. The collection box is in the church narthex.

The Shepherd’s Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon and is in need of pie filling and cereal. A container for donations is in the church narthex. So far this year, the food pantry has helped more than 5,000 people.

First Presbyteri­an Church in Bentonvill­e, 901 N.E. J St., hosts the Bentonvill­e High School Chamber Orchestra at 7 p.m. Dec. 18. The 45-minute concert is free; donations are appreciate­d as the orchestra is raising funds for a trip to perform at the ASTA National Orchestra Festival in the spring.

Candleligh­t Christmas Eve worship starts at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 24 with the chancel choir and instrument­alists, along with a special children’s message. Nursery care is provided for infants through age 5.

Good Shepherd Evangelica­l Lutheran Church in Rogers, 2305 S. Dixieland Road, offers an Advent service at 7 p.m. Dec. 19, preceded by a soup and sandwich supper at 6:15 p.m. The church council meets following Advent worship.

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., opens the Oasis Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 19. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragem­ent of friendly volunteers. At 6:30 p.m., there will be singing, devotions and prayer for adults in the Worship Center. The community is always welcome and nursery for infants and toddlers is available.
