Not in our interests

-

Once again the Democratic Party continues to prove that it places the interests of illegal invaders of our country over the safety and best interests of American citizens. Three times what the president asks for the wall is being spent in just a few Central American countries to theoretically make life good enough for them that they don’t feel the need to come avail themselves of our social safety net, but not a penny for a wall. How many of these Democrats do you think live in walled communities? How many leave their doors unlocked at night, or invite any of these illiterate gang members to come and stay with their families while they “look for work”? From Kate Steinle to the unfortunate California policeman cruelly slain by a multiple felony offender, the blood of Americans slain by this army of invaders is on the hands of our Democrat politicians. It doesn’t matter if it is true that crime rates are lower among illegals, every illegal that slays an American is one that should not have been here in the first place, and yet the Democrats do everything they can to protect the continued unlawful invasion of an unassimilated underclass. Having cast their lot as the protectors of the downtrodden and miserable, it seems their political fortune has become dependent on as much poverty and misery as they can muster within our borders. By this time the best interests of the Democrat Party have completely diverged from the best interests of American citizens, who will benefit from orderly and legal immigration by newcomers desiring to assimilate and become working Americans, by policies that reduce and do not increase poverty and government dependency, and policies that are designed and intended to advance the interests of the American people, and not those who would advance themselves by tearing America down? And yes, I am talking about you, Mrs. Pelosi and Mr. Schumer; the blood on your hands is accumulating. KARL T. KIMBALL Little Rock
