French comes from the Berryville Christian Church. He has a Master of Divinity from Memphis Theologica­l University and a Master of Profession­al Counseling from Grand Canyon University. He initiated his ministeria­l career with the United Methodist Church, serving in several churches for over 20 years, then joined the Christian Church (DOC) and became pastor in Berryville in 2012.

His wife, Charlisa, is an art teacher in the Bentonvill­e Public Schools.

Washington Regional Pastoral Care Department, 3 E. Appleby Road, Suite 102, Fayettevil­le, will offer a grief support group for women who have experience­d loss through stillbirth or miscarriag­e.

The group will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. every Sunday. It will be led by Jacqueline Eakens, chaplain of the Benton County Sheriff’s Department.
