MEDICAL

Dr. Adam McCall, family medicine physician with obstetrics, recently joined the medical staff of Northwest Health, practicing at Northwest Medical Plaza — Eastside, 2158 Butterfiel­d Coach Road, Suite 100, Springdale. He has been practicing at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Clinic in Harrison for the past four years. McCall received his medical education at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and completed a family medicine residency at UAMSAHEC-NW in Fayettevil­le. He also completed a one year general surgery internship at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Elaine Thrift, APRN, has returned to Baptist Health Adult Medicine Specialist­sFort Smith as a certified diabetes educator. She most recently provided education for patients at an area bariatric clinic. Thrift has more than 25 years of experience in nursing. She earned a master’s of science in nursing in 2009 from the University of Central Arkansas.

BANKING

Matt Hicks joined Chambers Bank as chief credit officer. He has more than 14 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently having served as a commercial lender and Fayettevil­le market leader at First National Bank NWA. Hicks is a graduate of Arkansas State University and earned his MBA from Harding University. Tammy Engle was named president for Arvest Bank in Siloam Springs. Engle has been with Arvest for 23 years, most recently serving as loan manager in Siloam Springs. She earned a bachelor’s degree at John Brown University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
