King David had a man killed to get his wife, Bathsheba. It was their baby that died when the law demanded that they should be stoned to death. Senator Rapert, explain the justice in that, please. Joshua killed everything that breathed—old, young, male, female—in several cities, as the book of Joshua recounts. And that was a good thing?

You say every conception is the will of God. Medical fact says that about 30 percent of those conceptions end in spontaneous miscarriage. Why would God cause that? Senator Rapert and the rest of you self-appointed authorities on medical and religious issues, please define anencephaly, Tay-Sachs disease, hydroencephaly, and explain the various types of birth defects that doom any newborn who has them. Why do we need a state Medical Board and medical schools that medical practitioners of any sort are required to attend and pass “boards” if you self-anointed medical analysts make the rules of practice for them with not a day of training?

Your governor is a man who is a BJU graduate, though he is reticent to talk about that. But it seems he will readily sign a bill that is likely unconstitutional if it serves his religious preferences or saves his rich friends a buck. He has better manners than Trump. Other than that, I find little difference between them. Both will walk all over the poor and mentally limited among us to save a buck for the well-to-do. Most of them don’t or can’t vote anyway, and Ayn Rand’s books taught them that the unproductive among us are not deserving of much more than the barest of minimum support from the public purse. And they call themselves “Christian.” I wonder if Jesus would agree.
