BELLA VISTA — Charles

Lamar Watkins, age 71, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away March 3, 2019, at Concordia Health and Rehab. He was born April 26, 1947, the son of Charlie and Dorothy Watkins in Pangburn, Ark.

Charles served in the Army. He was a welder and fabricator for Mid-America Manufactur­ing. He moved to Bella Vista six years ago from Jonesboro. Charles loved to crappie fish, watch Netflix and play with his fur babies, Kiki and Lucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Bryan Watkins. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sue Watkins; son Andy Watkins and wife Tabitha of Bentonvill­e, daughter-in-law Kelly Watkins; sisters Yvonne Clay of Tennessee, Peggy Orr of Jonesboro and Melba Griffin of Judsonia; brother Larry Orr of Jonesboro; six grandchild­ren, Ashlyn Watkins, Nathan Watkins, Isaac Watkins, Caleb Watkins, Braden Shipman and Tanner Shipman; nieces and nephew, Cindy Formon, Shari Herron and Michael Clay.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 5 at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 6 also at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel. Calvin Bertschy, 87, passed on March 3, 2019, in Rogers. He was born on Feb 6, 1932, in Bentonvill­e, Arkansas to the late Louis and Narcissus (Looney) Bertschy.

He graduated from Bentonvill­e High School in 1949 and regularly attended the 49rs events. He worked for Bentonvill­e Casting for 40 years. Calvin also had a love for farming.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Mildred and Annie; grandson Jason; and five siblings, Ivan, Vivian, Margie, Leola, and Evelyn.

Calvin is survived by his children, Jerry Bertschy (Rosie) of Pineville, Kelly Bertschy (Roni) of Bentonvill­e, Jackie Lopatofsky (Dave) of Bentonvill­e, Connie Cavness (Jon) of Bentonvill­e, Kristie Bertschy (Agbesi) of Gravette, Kimberly Bertschy (Madeline) of Bentonvill­e; step-daughters, Sandee Tansey, Tina DeBord, and Mona Mellon, all of Tennessee; brothers, Dick Bertschy of Texas, Leon Bertschy and Doug Bertschy, both of Gravette; sisters, Kay Bowers of Missouri and Verna Dodd of Pea Ridge; grandchild­ren, Michael Oakes of Texas, Jeremy Bertschy of Centerton, Jeri Lynn Smith of Bentonvill­e, Justin Cavness of Bentonvill­e, Darlene and Louise McVay of Gravette; seven great-grandchild­ren; two great-great-grandchild­ren; and multiple step-grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

His visitation will be Thursday, March 7 from 11-1 p.m. with a service at 1 p.m. all at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonvill­e. Burial

BENTONVILL­E — Noah

Delossanto­s, 18, of Bentonvill­e passed away March 2, 2019, at his home in Bentonvill­e, Ark. He was born Dec. 27, 2000, in Aurora, Mo., the son of Noah and Mindy Wolf Delossanto­s. He attended the First Baptist Church Cave Springs.

He is survived by his mother Mindy; father Noah, two sisters, Hannah and Faith Delossanto­s and grandparen­ts, Veronica Wolf, Joe and Joy Delossanto­s.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at the First Baptist Church, 322 S. Main St., Cave Springs, Ark. With visitation from 1-2 p.m. at the church. FAYETTEVIL­LE — Carol

June (Brown) Baskett was born Oct. 30, 1921, to Rotha Keller Brown and Crawford Marvin Brown in Texarkana, Ark. She died Feb. 24, 2019, in Fayettevil­le, Ark., at home after a short illness.

Except for five years when she and her husband worked for the U.S. government in Germany and travelled over Europe and other places, she lived in Texarkana, moving to Fayettevil­le, Ark., on June 15, 2001.

She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, where she volunteere­d in the Sunday school nursery department for 35 years.

When her children were in Fairview Elementary school, Texarkana, she was a Cub Scout leader for four years and a Brownie and Girl Scout leader for five years. She received a lifetime membership in the PTA, having participat­ed in three PTA groups and serving on the City Council. While living in Texarkana, she received a 10-year service pin from the American Red Cross, having served at one time as the board secretary. For the 12 years before she moved to Fayettevil­le, she was employed in the office of Dr. Thomas L. Wilson. Since moving to Fayettevil­le, she volunteere­d at CASA of NWA and Fayettevil­le Public Library.

She was predecease­d by her husband Edward Keith Baskett; her son, Franz Keith Baskett, Sr.; her mother, Rotha Keller Brown; her grandparen­ts, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Keller, and her brother, C.M. Brown.

She is survived by her daughter, Mahala (Levie) Baskett of San Francisco, Calif.; granddaugh­ter, Sperry (Kurt) Workman; great grandchild­ren, Allison and Jonathan Workman, all of Memphis, Tenn.; granddaugh­ter Shana (Brian) Kelly of Baker, La.; grandson Franz Keith Baskett, Jr. and great grandchild­ren Max and Violet Baskett, all of Salt Lake City, Utah; niece Laura Carol Goodman of Boulder, Colo.; great nephew Reed Goodman of San Francisco, Calif.

The family is very grateful to Jean Hill, who for many years, by her assistance in many ways, made it possible for Carol June to live alone in her home. Thanks also go to Kay Coley, her friend, and visiting home health RN. Additional­ly, Carol June was joined in her later years in Fayettevil­le by her daughter, Mahala (Levie).

There will be a memorial service at Sequoyah United Methodist Church in Fayettevil­le on Old Wire Road on Wednesday, March 6 at 2 p.m. with visitation after. Also, there will be a service in Texarkana, Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m. at Texarkana Funeral Home on Texas Boulevard. Visitation is at the same location in Texarkana on Thursday, March 7 from 6-8 p.m. FORT SMITH — Zeno H. Walther was born on Jan. 16, 1960, in Hazel Crest, Ill., to Lucy and Zeno A. Walther. Zeno passed away March 2, 2019, in Fort Smith, Ark., after bravely fighting cancer.

Zeno will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 19 years, Lorinda Walther of Fort Smith, Ark.; two daughters, Miko Morris of Oklahoma City and Emilia Coffman of Sallisaw, Okla.; son Zeno Walther “Little Zeno” of Florida; three granddaugh­ters, Hailey and Kendall Morris and Jade Coffman; grandson Kiowa Coffman; niece Brittany Buness of Juneau, Alaska; niece Leslie Thomas and nephew Preston Thomas of Lavaca, Ark. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Linda Ballou of Bentonvill­e, Ark., and his work family.

He lived most of his younger years and spoke often of his time spent in Juneau, Alaska. In 1998 he moved to Fort Smith, shortly after he met and married his true love, Lorinda. Zeno was an adventurer. His travels in work and play took him all across the world — from the frozen tundra of Alaska and Antarctic to the desert of Iraq. Along the way he received numerous accolades and awards for his devotion and dedication to the many work projects he developed and oversaw. His work ethic was one of a kind and truly admired.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 5, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Fentress Mortuary, 1805 North A, Fort Smith, Ark. All friends and family are welcome. Flowers can be sent to Fentress Mortuary. LINCOLN — Sue Heisler, age 90, a resident of Lincoln, Ark., went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the Maples in Springdale, Ark. She was born Feb. 15, 1929, in Henry County, Tenn., the daughter of Charlie and Eula (Pruitt) Hicks.

Sue was a member of the First Presbyteri­an Church in Lincoln, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and had pbeen an active member of the Lincoln Senior Center, playing drums with several bands in the area. She was a member of the Lincoln Cemetery Associatio­n, Lincoln Library Board, office manager of the Arkansas Doctors Museum for 15 years, and clerk treasure for the City of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Heisler Sr., son Walter Dennis Byars Jr., stepdaught­er Betty Russell and her parents.

Survivors include son Don Byars and wife Loretta of Lincoln, Ark.; daughter Dena Dodd and husband David of Prairie Grove, Ark.; stepson Robert Heisler Jr. of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; stepdaught­er Wanda VanMeter of Lincoln, Ark.; nine grandchild­ren, 17 great-grandchild­ren and 17 great-great-grandchild­ren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 5, 2019, 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Ark. ROGERS — Dorothy

Barker, 89, of Rogers, died Monday, March 4, 2019. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Violet Waggy, her husband, Fred Barker, sons James Allen Butler and Craig Barker and brother Gene Waggy. ROGERS — Ronnie E.

Reisinger, 74, passed away on Feb. 28, 2019. He was born in Champaign County, Ohio, on Aug. 8, 1944, to the late Howard and Margaret (Harris) Reisinger.

He was the loving husband of Teresita (Delarosa) Reisinger.

He is survived by his wife of Rogers; son Lonnie (Shelley) and their children, Austin and Emmie of Springdale.

SILOAM SPRINGS — Jay

Roswell Rumberger Jr., age 77, of Siloam Springs, died Sunday, March 3, 2019.

Jay was a graduate of the University of Kansas and a banker and stock broker.

Jay was preceded in death by his parents, Jay Roswell Rumberger Sr. and Dorris Westfall Rumberger and son Trey Guild. Jay is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol; two sons, Mike Guild (Regina), Doug Guild (Shannon); a sister, Carol Gauert (Don) and many grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. SPRINGDALE — Mary

Etta Corter, age 76, of Springdale, Ark., went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2019, at Willard Walker Hospice House. She was born Feb. 25, 1943, in Huntsville, Ark., the daughter of the late Melvin Henry and Sylvia Reynolds Davis.

She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Springdale. She was preceded by her parents, two brothers, Raymond Reynolds and Charles Davis and sister Wanda Jean Anderson.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Corter of the home; three sons, Jimmy Corter and Dania of Gentry, George Pendergras­s and Misty of Springdale, and Danny Corter and Tammy of Gentry; two daughters, Debra Lynn Brown and Bobby of Springdale and Vicki LeRoy of Noel, Mo.; brother Rex Davis of Springdale; three sisters, Frankie Morgan of Tulsa, Okla., Darlena Shaver of Springdale and Melva Loper and Jimmy of Gravette; 11 grandchild­ren and 12 great-grandchild­ren.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Robert Stephen Holcomb, age 85, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2019, surrounded by family.

Bob loved his country passionate­ly and served eight years in the 316th Logistical Command of the Army Reserve leaving as captain in 1964. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Tennessee Vols and died a few hours after the Vols beat Kentucky on Saturday.

He was born in Springdale, Ark., on April 15, 1933, to the late Joe Latimer Holcomb and Elva McKeown Holcomb. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Darliene Steele Holcomb; brothers Herbert and Dwight; sisters Joelva Giblon Johnson and Beverly Jean Holcomb and granddaugh­ter, Christina Combs.

He was raised on a farm in Springdale where he learned the values of hard work, integrity, and a lifelong love of Jesus Christ. He married Darliene in September 1954 and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1955 with highest honors from the College of Engineerin­g. He spent his career of 42 years at Oak Ridge National Laboratory where he worked as a design engineer and traveled to many power plants all over the country.

With ORNL he also had the opportunit­y to work in London, England, for an adventurou­s year. Bob was a charter member of Cumberland Baptist Church and a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church in Karns where he actively served as deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years. Bob was an extremely loving and kind man who exemplifie­d for his family the importance of loving Jesus, honesty, integrity and education.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Jean Holcomb; children and their spouses, Sandra Major, Deborah and Tim Panella, Ronald and Kim Holcomb all of Knoxville and Linda and Bill Weaver of Auburn, Ind.; 12 grandchild­ren; 13 great-grandchild­ren and three on the way. He is also survived by Shirley’s children, Michael, Pamela, Jeff and Lisa and her grandchild­ren who loved and adored Bob.

Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for a 2 p.m. graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Auburn Baptist Church, 1700 Old Brick Road, Auburn, Ind., 46706, where his son-in-law, Rev. Bill Weaver, serves as pastor.
