ALTUS — Christophe­r Michael Doman, age 40, a resident of Altus, Ark., formerly of Lincoln, Ark., passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019, in Ozark, Ark. He was born Dec. 12, 1978, in Fredricksb­urg, Va., the son of Richard Alan and Bonnie (Strang) Doman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Doman.

Survivors include his son, Aiden Michael Doman; fiancee, Shawna Lee Galindo; his parents, David and Bonnie Dobbs; two brothers, Michael Alan Doman and David Alan Dobbs; four stepsister­s, Mindy Loretta Watkins, Molina Deanna Dobbs, Amanda Michelle Watkins and April Marie Watkins; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

BENTONVILL­E — Kimberley Dawn Johnson Ott, 47, of Bentonvill­e, Ark., passed away March 6, 2019, after a 3 ½ year battle with cancer.

Kim was born in Saigon, Vietnam, May 27, 1971, and grew up in Lawton, Okla., where she graduated from Lawton High School. She moved to Bentonvill­e, Ark., in 2004 and worked for both Sam’s and Walmart for 25 years.

Kim is survived by her husband of 12 years, Jamie Ott of Bentonvill­e; her mom and dad, Halvor and Chin Johnson of Rogers; two children, Michael Reynolds of Bentonvill­e, Kristen Reynolds of Centerton, Ark.; the father of her children, David Reynolds of Lawton, Okla.; two brothers, Thomas Johnson of Lawton, Okla., Steven Johnson of Olympia, Wash.; and the love of her life, grandson, Griffin Arthur Reynolds.

The family would like to say thank you to all of the wonderful people who helped her through her cancer, and all the doctors, nurses and staff at Highlands Oncology.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Billy D. Foster of Fayettevil­le, Ark, transition­ed peacefully into the hands of God on March 6, 2019, at the age of 85. He was at his home surrounded by his loving wife of 64 years and several family members. Bill was born in Brentwood, Ark, on February 16, 1934.

He was raised and lived in Winslow, Ark., until he moved to Fayettevil­le in 1969. Bill was the oldest of five; he had three brothers — Ernie, Jerry and Terry Foster and one sister, Wanda Donaghe.

Bill was employed by the Fayettevil­le Police Department for 23 years. He retired as Captain of the force in 1992. He then spent his next 26 years doing the things he loved which included spending time with his very large family, woodworkin­g, gardening, building flower gardens, mowing, tinkering in his garage and anything else that he could do outside. He was always available when anyone needed help with anything. He also was his mom’s primary caregiver the last two years of her life.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Opal Foster and a son-in-law Roger Harp.

He is survived by his wife Sue (Ross) Foster; five daughters, Vicky (Dick) Janway, Gena Harp, Myra Sisk, Sandra (Matt) Campbell and Karla (Fred) Yochum; 14 grandchild­ren, Faira (Scott) Sexton, Fawna Janway, Falicia (Matt) Bailey, Joe Harp, Amy(Josh) Smith, Bryan(Leslie) Harp, Amanda(Nick) Tyburski, Whitney(Kendall) Riley, Madelynn (Jared) Meyer, Andrew Campbell, Scott (Beth) Taylor, Rachel (Matt) Shipp, Rebekah (Wayne) Johnson and Ashley (Mike) Weers; 24 great-grandchild­ren, Devon, Kolton, Peyton, Tucker, Jackson, Dally, Kelsey, Gus, Connor, Kase, Harper, Jacob, Annabella, Landon, Lucas, Lincoln, Cash, Rosalie, Braelyn, Matthew, Ethan, Kyla, Michael and Nai’yna.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Dorothy R. “Tonnie” Rader, of Fayettevil­le, Ark., passed away, Saturday, March 2, 2019, a day before her 97th birthday in Springdale, Ark. She was born March 3, 1922, in Chicago, Ill., to Harold Rink and Dorothy (Gautschy) Rink.

She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayettevil­le, a former volunteer at Northwest Health and an avid gardener.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Rader.

She is survived by five children, daughter, Dianne Kuhn and husband Tom of Anacortes, Wash., daughter, Patricia Rader of Bethesda, Md., daughter, Debbie Crandall and husband Marc of Fayettevil­le, Ark., son, John Rader and wife Patty of Springfiel­d, Va., daughter Caren Lyne and husband Rex of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; one sister, Betty Denson of Chesapeake, Va.; 14 grandchild­ren, and seven great-grandchild­ren.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Mary G. Sprain, age 89, of Fayettevil­le, died Thursday, March 7, 2019. Mary was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Wynne, Ark., to Leon and Ruby Lee McClellan.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Eugene P. Sprain Sr.; a daughter, Debbie Novak; two brothers, Bob McClellan and Franklin McClellan.

Mary is survived by her six children, David Garrett, Daniel Garrett, Doug Garrett, Michele Sprain, Patricia Boswell and Eugene P. Sprain Jr.; a brother Don McClellan; and two sisters, Ann Winslow and Linda Shrader; and eight grandchild­ren.

FORT SMITH — Jo finished a short but fierce battle with reoccuring metastasiz­ed breast cancer and passed away peacefully in her sleep at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, Ark. Jo has moved on to continue her search for the perfect shell on new white sand beaches, the perfect drive down the middle of the fairway, a perfectly enjoyable jaunt to Europe with friends, the perfect book(s) to curl up and read or the perfect dog to spoil like Ginger, the last in a long line of “good dogs.”

Jo was preceded in death by her parents Alec and Bea Helton of Eldred, Ill., and sister Betty Wilson of Shattuc, Ill.

Jo is survived by her husband, Pete McCadden of Fort Smith, Ark.; sister, Doris Pranger of White Hall, Ill.; daughters, Laura Thomas (Mark) of Maumelle, Ark., and Carrie East (Steve) of Conway, Ark.; grandchild­ren Zeb Daniel (Steph) of Gastonia, N.C., Amanda Moser (Derek) of Greenbrier, Ark., and Trey Daniel (Jessie) of Conway, Ark.; great-grandchild­ren Harper Daniel of Gastonia, N.C., Mabrey and Rhodes Moser of Greenbrier, Ark.; and several cherished nieces and nephews; also many neighbors and friends, particular­ly the Ben Geren Ladies Golf Club and the Village Harbor Garden Club.

GENTRY — Albert LeRoy Jordan, 92, of Gentry, Ark., went to be with the Lord, March 8, 2019, at his home. Born Dec. 5, 1926, in Gravette, Ark., he was the son of Fred Jordan and Lena Hidy Jordan.

LeRoy married Mabel Smith on Feb. 16, 1947, and was married for 55 years until she passed away in December of 2002. He married Carol Summers on May 6, 2006, in Gentry. They enjoyed 13 years together, before he went to be with the Lord. LeRoy worked at Twiggs IGA for several years and then at Franklin Electric before he retired. He was a longtime member at First Baptist Church and served as a deacon for several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mabel; and great-grandson, Derek William Wright.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; son, Ron Jordan and wife Julie, a daughter, Connie Arnold, all of Gentry, Ark.; grandchild­ren, Jeff and Christi Trammell of Gentry, Kyle and Jessica Jordan of Gentry, Ashley Graver and husband Tanner of Shawnee, Kan., and Katrina Wright and husband David of Gentry; four stepchildr­en and their families; and 13 great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at First Baptist church in Gentry, Ark., with the Rev. Joe Finfrock officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2019, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.

GRAVETTE — Joseph Franklin Tusinger Jr., age 91, of Gravette, Ark., went to be with the Lord March 1, 2019. He was born Sept. 2, 1927, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, the son of the late Joseph F. Tusinger Sr. and Gladys May Carnahan Tusinger.

He owned and operated a salvage yard and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He is preceded by his wife, Alice Gilbert Tusinger; one daughter, Charlotte Tusinger, and one granddaugh­ter.

He is survived by two daughters, Brenda Alberg of Gravette, Ark., and Lisa Rumple of Jay, Okla.; six grandchild­ren and five great-grandchild­ren.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Maysville Old Community Building. There will be a potluck dinner following the service.

LITTLE ROCK — Tery Baskin, age 65, of Little Rock died March 8, 2019.

Survivors: wife Mary; daughter, Julie Lewis (Randy); son, Jeff Baskin; parents, Ina and Jim (deceased) Baskin; sister, Jimmie (John) Coleman; nieces, Carrie Moore and Sydney Coleman; nephews, Jeremy Walsh, Rob Walsh, Adam Walsh and Austin Coleman.

Tery graduated from Arkansas Tech and the UA College of Pharmacy. He held leadership positions for the American Pharmacist­s Associatio­n for many years. Tery was the owner of several pharmacies and RxResults.

He was an avid Razorback fan and hunter, a wonderful family man and member of Fellowship Bible Church.

Visitation will be held at 6-8 Tuesday and funeral services at 11 Wednesday, both at Fellowship Bible Church. Burial at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery, New Blaine, Ark.

LOWELL — Sondra Kay Vinson, age 76, of Lowell, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, March 2, 2019.

Sondra was a retired real estate broker and owner of All American Realty in Springdale, Ark. Sondra served as past president of local board of Realtors and served many years on numerous State Board committees, her proudest moments were helping with a homebuyer to become a first-time homeowner.

Sondra is preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Movadene Cooper and a son, Shane Bowden and her first husband, Donnie Bowden.

Sondra is survived by her husband of 27 years, Bob Vinson and his two sons, Gerald W. Vinson (Pam) and Kevin D. Vinson.

Visitation will be held at Westfield Chapel on Sunday, March 10, from 5-7 p.m. Graveside services will be Monday, March 11, at 11 a.m. at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, Ark.

ROGERS — Kevin William Callaghan, 55, of Rogers passed away Tuesday, Feb 26, 2019. He was born April 17, 1963, in Wichita, Kan., to Sandra Sue “Sami” Callaghan and the late Clifford William Callaghan.

He was a graduate of Goddard (Kan.) High School. In his youth, he enjoyed spending many days riding his dirt bike on the backroads of Kansas and his love of fast cars continued throughout his life! He spent his entire career ‘wheeling and dealing’, selling cars for many years before relocating to Northwest Arkansas and becoming a partner and operating Horseshoe Bend Marina for 23 years.

He shared 19 years with his wife, Jackie Callaghan who survives as does his mother, Sami Callaghan of Rogers; his brother, Kent Callaghan of Rogers; his stepson, Jade Killgore of Augusta, Kan.; his “Right Hand Man” for the last 14 years, Juan Nieto; his fourlegged constant companion, “Boss”; numerous extended family members, business associates and dear friends.

His memorial service will begin at 1 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2019, in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Arrangemen­ts are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home.

ROGERS — James A. Hollenbeck, 70, of Rogers passed away March 7, 2019, in Rogers. He was born Feb. 23, 1949, in Rock Rapids, Iowa, the son of Robert and Justine Joslyn Hollenbeck.

James retired after 20 years as a Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marines; he also played in the military band. He was a Arkansas Constable, formerly worked in security for XNA and J.B. Hunt. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and working his cattle.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Teale; his son, James Hollenbeck and wife Jessica of Rogers; his daughter, Scarlet Neevel of Siloam Springs; his cousin, Donna Inderwisch of Rock Rapids, Iowa; three grandchild­ren; and many friends from Rock Rapids, Iowa.

Friends may join the family for full military honors at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019, and visitation will follow until 6 p.m. at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.

ROGERS — Velma Marie Holzkamper, a beloved member of the Rogers community, passed away on March 7, 2019. She was born on July 2, 1928, in Koshkonong, Mo., to the late Walter and Alta Mae (Carlile) Johnson.

Velma, or “Meme” as she was known to many, will be remembered as a vivacious woman with a generous heart. In 1963 she married Phil Holzkamper, who went on to found Phil & Sons Floor Company in Rogers, and together they raised a large and loving family. Velma was a devout member of the Orthodox Catholic faith.

She will be dearly missed by her 12 children, 39 grandchild­ren, 43 great-grandchild­ren, three great-great-grandchild­ren and four siblings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sons, and six siblings.

All are invited to visit with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 11, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Rollins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park.

ROGERS — Wesley John “Jack” Moody, 84, died, March 8, 2019, in Rogers, Ark. He was born March 24, 1934, in Algonac, Mich., to Wesley John and Dortha Mae Moody.

Jack served in U.S. Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and Fort Benning, Ga., in 1953 to 1955. He graduated from DeVry Technical

School in Chicago; worked for RCA-Missile Test Project at Cape Canaveral and lived and worked in the West Indies. He worked four years as Senior Engineer for Defense Electronic­s Inc. in Rockville, Md., before joining IBM-FSD in 1966 as Electronic Engineer, where he remained for 27.5 years before retiring in 1993 at age 59.

Jack lived and worked in many parts of the world and enjoyed it all. He lived in Oslo, Norway, for two years with his family: wife, Barbara (Hurt), and four children, Michelle, Deborah, William and Todd. All have done well with their lives and are still going strong. They gave him wonderful grandkids and even great-grandchild­ren. He also dearly loved and is survived by his siblings, Lois Blanc, Linda Eugenis and Marian Swartz.

He married and is survived by Sally Jo Moore.

For the many years, Jack has been working part time at the Rogers Adult Wellness Center where he taught/lead the greatest class ever: PEPPI (Peer Exercise Program to Promote Independen­ce). These years were the most enjoyable for him – all PEPPI members were, to him, family. And he loved them all.

To Bessie and Bob, Bob and Dee, and David, thank you for your love and support.

Jack wants all of you to keep yourselves fit and healthy and to live long, laugh lots and love everyone. Adieu!

ROGERS — Glenda J. Vinson, 77, of Rogers passed away Feb. 28, 2019, at home. She was born Oct. 16, 1941, in Riverside, Calif., the daughter of Earl Albert Laird and Lois Gertude McMath.

She was a member of the Church of the Latter-day Saints.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Coy Vinson; three sisters; and grandson Trevor Thompson

She is survived by her children, Gary Thompson, Rolald (Filomena) Thompson, Cy (Claudette) Thompson, Glenda Thompson, Benjamin Vinson, Kyle Vinson and Carrie Bailey; one sister Ruby (Vern) Taylor; 14 grandchild­ren and two great-grandchild­ren.

SILOAM SPRINGS — Carolyn M. Holson, 75-yearold resident of Siloam Springs, Ark., died on March 9, 2019, in Siloam Springs. Born on May 26, 1943, in Knoxville, Tenn., she was the daughter of LB McClain and Lena Delores Browning McClain.

Carolyn married Robert Lee Holson on April 21, 1979. She was a hairdresse­r for 18 years. Carolyn was a member of Cross Church in Springdale, Ark. She was a diehard Tennessee Volunteers fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Delores, Barbara, Wilda and Betty.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; son, Edward Wayne Johnson and wife Tommye of Siloam Springs; six grandchild­ren, Jordan, Cord, Kelby, Daniel, Cortney, and Trae; eight great-grandchild­ren, Layla, Kennedy, Jason, Karley, Delilah, Grayson, Scarlett, and Ezra; and her sister, Judy Iturbe.

SPRINGDALE — Elizabeth Louise Bean, 40, beloved daughter of Thomas and Bridget Bean, gained her angel wings Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at her home in Springdale. She was born Dec. 19, 1978, in Wichita, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Bean, and her grandparen­ts, Waymon and Imelda Bean.

She is survived by her parents, aunts and uncles and many cousins.

Elizabeth loved to go shopping with her mother, go out to eat “like a big girl,” and making her daddy get many cups of milk for her.

Her family is so grateful for the caring care-givers she has had especially Maria Sifuentes and Harmoney Harris. A special thanks to the entire staff of Circle of Life in Springdale.

SPRINGDALE — Flois Tressie Worden Jones, 81, died at home on March 8, 2019, in Springdale, Ark.

Flois Jones is survived by her husband, Glen Carroll Jones of Springdale, Ark., and her children, Carolyn Stevens and Tommy Powell, both of Springdale, Ark.; her grandchild­ren, Bryan C. Powell and Ashley M. Richardson, both of Springdale, Ark.; her great-grandchild­ren, Emily Paige, Riley Grace and Dallas Trevan.

Flois was preceded in death by her two sons, Otis H. Powell and Frank H. Powell.

Flois was born on Jan. 3, 1938, in Kellyville, Okla., to O. Floyd Worden and Pebble D. Nicholson. Flois married Caroll Jones on Oct. 7, 1970. They are both members of Elm Springs Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed singing in church and witnessing to others about Jesus. She will be remembered by family and friends as a good Christian person.

A funeral is scheduled for Flois Jones on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale; Glynn Trusty will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Flois Jones’ life. She will be laid to rest at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Ark.

SELIGMAN, Mo. — Bill Baxley loved Friday — TGIF! What earnest, hard-working person or student doesn’t? He wasn’t any different than any other hard working person. Bill finally reached his forever Friday on March 8, 2019.

Bill, a member of God’s family, beloved husband, father, grandfathe­r, favorite uncle, best friend and community leader passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019, with his wife, Rhonda by his side.

Born April 30, 1933, in Dalhart, Dallam County, Texas, he was the son of William Riley Baxley and Hessie Mae (Guinn) Baxley.

Bill is survived by the love of life, his wife, Rhonda Jean Relethford, of 63 years and six months; daughter, Judy Ann Baxley; son, William (Buddy) Ray Baxley and fiancée Mary Schleuter; the little loves of his life, granddaugh­ters Kelley Raye (Stone) Coffey and Micheal Creath, Pauline (Stone) Ramirez, grandson Brandon Dean Baxley; great-granddaugh­ters, Michaela Naomi (Stone-Smith) Adams and husband, Austin, Taylor Raye Coffey and fiancé Daryl Copeland, Hailey Raye Coffey; great-grandsons, Adam Matthew Ramirez, Alex Michael Ramirez; and last, but certainly not least in his heart, greatgreat grandsons, George Riley Phillips and Ryder Lee Adams.

As previously mentioned, he was a much loved husband, father, grandfathe­r, son, brother, uncle, friend, co-worker and community servant leader. Many of those mentioned, have preceded him, including his parents, five siblings and a great-great grandson Ryan Alexander Adams.

Bill, a very respected member of the Seligman, Mo., community, began a 29-year career at Daisy Outdoor Products, formerly known as Daisy. Working in many department­s throughout his career, he retired in 1995. In addition to this, he was a full-time cattle farmer.

In his spare time, he was devoted to his family and friends and loved to spend weekends, holidays and vacations with them. He loved his Lord and Jesus Christ and was a member of the Garfield Church of Christ. Among the many community programs Bill served, he was known most for his contributi­on of 49 years of service to Lions Club Internatio­nal.

Bill loved sports, especially baseball, basketball and football. His favorite teams were the St. Louis Cardinals, the Dallas Cowboys and the Southwest High School Trojans. He coached many young players and taught them more than just the game concept. He taught them life lessons, too. When not spending time with his family and the community, he could be found watching various sports games live and on TV. During off-season he enjoyed John Wayne western movies and gardening. Bill was always there to help relatives and friends with any request or whatever else people needed from him.

A special thank you and sincerest gratitude to the kind, caring people at Apple Creek Nursing and Rehab in Centerton, Ark., for their loving care and support during this past year and especially his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their appreciati­on towards Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge, Ark., for being very accommodat­ing and understand­ing during this difficult time.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Home on Monday, March 11, 2019. Funeral services for Bill will be at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge, Ark., on Tuesday, March 12, at 10 a.m. Bill will be laid to rest at the Bayless Cemetery in Gateway, Ark.

WATTS, Okla. — Dustin Cole Erickson, 30, of Watts, Okla., died on March 7, 2019, at his home. He was born July 12, 1988, in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Dustin was a carpenter, rancher and farmer but loved working with his papa most. He was of the Presbyteri­an faith.

Survivors include his parents, Teresa and Steve Bailey of Bentonvill­e, Ark.; brother, Jackson Bailey of Bentonvill­e, Ark.; sister, Dr. Lauren Bailey and husband Ryan Johnson of Dartmouth, N.H.; grandparen­ts, Ken and Linda Jones of Watts, Okla., and Harryetta Bailey of Bentonvill­e, Ark.; and a host of other family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathe­r E.R. Bailey.

Funeral services will 10 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2019, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark. Burial will be private.
