BELLA VISTA — Bonnie Lou Quednow, 87, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 2, 2019. She was born Oct. 27, 1931, in Topeka, Kan., to Albert S. Gordon and Gladys M. Anderson Gordon.

Bonnie moved to Bella Vista in 1991 from Cincinnati, Ohio, with her husband. She was a member of Bella Vista Lutheran Church and LWML.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 61 years, Arthur D. Quednow, and brother Orville Gordon.

Bonnie is survived by son Scott Michael Quednow of Stokesdale, N.C.; daughter Karla Sue Quednow of Prairie Grove, Ark.; sister (Opal) Maxine Schuetz of Olathe, Kan.; two grandchild­ren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 7 at Bella Vista Lutheran Church. BELLA VISTA — Betty Maxine Turner, 75, Bella Vista, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Friday Aug. 2,

2019. Betty was born on Sept. 11, 1943, in Lebo, Kan., to Donald and Wilma Crouse.

She married Cecil J. Turner on Oct. 27, 1961, and was a wonderful mother who cared and raised her four children.

Betty is survived by her husband, Cecil; children Donnie (Christy) Turner, James (Jill) Turner, Rhonda (Greg) Johnson, and Michelle (Kurt) Kocur; sister Judy McCormick; sisterin-law Ellen (Randy) Scott; eight grandchild­ren and four great-grandchild­ren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Billy and sister-in-law Judy Turner.

Memorial service will be Thursday, Aug. 8 with visitation at 3 p.m. and service at 4 p.m. at Benton County Memorial Park, Rogers, Ark.

BENTONVILL­E — David Lee Arnold, 46, of Bentonvill­e went to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e. He was born July 16, 1973, at St. Mary Hospital in Rogers, Ark., to Patricia C. Simmons Arnold and Ray David Arnold.

He was employed at Preform Line Products in Rogers for 24 years.

He loved riding his dirt bike and Harley motorcycle, camping, fishing, kayaking at Sugar Island with his family, friends and his dogs Bane and Jaxie. David belonged to the Rock Crawlers 4X4 of Fayettevil­le.

He loved traveling with his wife and family. Most of all he loved being a dad. David and Carrie celebrated

their 10th wedding anniversar­y with a renewal of their wedding vowels in Punta Cana in September 2017.

He was preceded in death by his father, R.D. Arnold, and brother Randy Arnold.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie Arnold; daughters Marissa Leigh Arnold, Whitney Johnson (Tim), and Skylar Smith (David), all of Bentonvill­e; son Marcus Smith (Sphen) of Bartlesvil­le, Okla.; granddaugh­ter Haylee; mother Patricia C. Fisher (Bill) of Bentonvill­e; sister Melissa Samuels of Fayettevil­le; three nephews and one niece. David is also survived by several family members and dear friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

FORREST CITY — Violet Dowless Baldwin, age 93, of Forrest City, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis,

Tenn. Mrs. Baldwin was born Nov. 2, 1925, in Monette, Ark., to Joseph Harry Dowless and Virginia Click Dowless.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years, William Thomas Baldwin, Jr., son Thomas J. Baldwin, and sister Frances Dowless Giles.

She graduated from Monette High School at age 16 and Hendrix College at age 19. Her love of history led to a long teaching career in the Forrest City School District.

Mrs. Baldwin is survived by children David Baldwin (Ruth) of Forrest City and Dian Baldwin Bacon (Robert) of Fayettevil­le. She is also survived by grandchild­ren Blakely Baldwin Berry (Russell) of Forrest City, Trey Baldwin of North Little Rock, Katie Bacon and Bill Bacon of Fayettevil­le; niece Gini Talley and nephew Joe Giles, along with many great friends.

Mrs. Baldwin was a lifelong Methodist and long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Forrest City. She served as chair of the Historical Committee for 25 years and continued her involvemen­t as an emeritus member of that committee. Her work enabled the church to be designated on the National Register of Historic Places. Because of her commitment to historical preservati­on, Preserve Arkansas bestowed First United Methodist Church of Forrest City the 2017 Award for Outstandin­g Preservati­on Reporting for the “Methodist Moments” radio program.

She was a member of the Henry Williams Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Women’s Afternoon Circle, Delta Kappa Gamma, Musical Coterie, the

Arkansas Education Associatio­n and served as president of the Forrest City Education Associatio­n. She was an avid golfer and bridge player and loved reading and following current events.

Mrs. Baldwin chose to donate her body to the Genesis Legacy Whole Body Donation Foundation. (www.genesis legacy.org). A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 2 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Forrest City, with a reception following the service. GENTRY — Carol Velma Keith, age 84, of Gentry, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019. Carol was born March 17, 1935, in Rifle, Colo. SPRINGDALE — Joyce June Garrett, age 65, of Springdale, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019. Joyce was born Aug. 20, 1953, in Dexter, N.M., to Jack ad Ora Lee Sides. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents. Joyce is survived by her three children, Theresa Wilson, Ellena Holt (John) and Jennifer Case; brother Bill Sides; sister Erma Sides; 11 grandchild­ren, Rebbica, Stephen, Christian, Breanna, Kelli, Michela, Deavon, Beau, Hope, John and Hayden. SPRINGDALE — Kerin Jean Moran Peckham, age 82, of Springdale, died Monday, July 29, 2019. Kerin was born July 28, 1937, in Bloom Township, Wis., to Donald Francis and Ada Nell Moran.

Kerin was preceded in death by her parents and sister Colleen Muldowney.

Kerin is survived by her five children, Darnell Krotzman Wellesley (Gary) of Springdale, Ark., Dawn Jarvis (Norm) of Anderson, Ind., DeLon Doudna (Rene) of Fayettevil­le, Ark., Donald Doudna (Rhonda) of Tontitown, Ark., and Larry Peckham(Dawn) of Springdale, Ark.; brother Donald Moran (Mary); 20 grandchild­ren and 26 great-grandchild­ren, many nieces and nephews.
