THE NUMBERS Wood played a variety of roles for the Wildcats as a junior when injuries forced Har-Ber coach Chris Wood to plug his best athlete into those spots. … As a receiver, Hunter led the team with 29 catches for 568 yards (19.6 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns. … He was also utilized at quarterback, where he was 9 of 22 passing for 160 yards and two touchdowns along with two interceptions. He also rushed for 217 yards on 47 carries (4.6 yards per carry) and scored three rushing touchdowns. … In a 27-18 road win at Pine Bluff, Wood played quarterback and was 6 of 10 passing for 148 yards and two touchdowns and ran the ball 22 times for 108 yards and one touchdown. … In the final game of the regular season against Fayetteville, Wood caught six passes for 112 yards. … Wood also saw some limited time on defense, where he recorded three tackles. … Wood, who also bats lead-off and plays shortstop on the Wildcats’ baseball team, has multiple college offers and a preferred walkon offer from Auburn.
