THE NUMBERS Seawood is one of the most athletic players in the state with a vertical jump close to 36 inches. He has also been electronically timed a 4.52 in the 40-yard dash. … The multi-sport standout put together a solid junior season with 29 catches for 443 yards and three touchdowns, but those numbers are slightly skewed after the Wildcats lost their starting quarterback for the early part of the season. Despite limited touches, he still averaged 15.3 yards per catch. … His best game came against Pine Bluff, where he caught four passes for 127 yards and a touchdown. … Seawood was electric in the Wildcats’ championship run in the Southwest Elite 7on7 tournament in July with multiple acrobatic catches in a crowd as Har-Ber defeated Bixby, Okla., for the championship. … He is also a member of the Har-Ber boys basketball team and the Wildcats’ track team.

HE SAID IT “My goal is to get a state championship. That has been my goal since I have been at Har-Ber. I’m trying to finish it out this season, get a ring. We’re motivated. Last year was not a good year for us. We’re trying to come back and prove a point. We’re coming in every day, pushing each other, encouraging each other to work hard. Because we know what we’re capable of. For me, I just need to keep working hard, keep listening to my coaches. If I keep doing that, everything will work out. I have good coaches, and we have a good team.”
