Don McDonald and Scott Price of Merrill Lynch Financial Advisors in Fort Smith have been recognized on the Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors” list. McDonald has been a part of Merrill’s Fort Smith office for 30 years while Price has been there 22 years. The ranking was developed by SHOOK Research. SHOOK evaluates each adviser based on a major component of a ranking algorithm, which includes client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records and firm nomination­s and criteria including assets under management and revenue generated for their firms.

Dr. Kiran Kurichety will join Mercy Clinic Cardiology, 1110 W. Robinson Ave., Springdale. Kurichety earned a doctor of medicine from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and completed an internal medicine residency at Rush Presbyteri­anSt. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. He completed fellowship­s in cardiovasc­ular medicine and interventi­onal cardiology at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovasc­ular disease and interventi­onal cardiology.

Dr. Daniel S. Paul has joined Mercy Clinic Pulmonolog­y and Critical Care Medicine located in the Physicians Plaza at 2708 S. Rife Medical Lane, Suite T20, Rogers. Paul earned his medical degree from Madras Medical College in Madras, India, where he also completed post-graduate work in tuberculos­is and respirator­y diseases. He completed a residency in internal medicine at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Ill., and a fellowship in pulmonary disease/critical care medicine at Fletcher Allen Health Care at the University of Vermont. Paul is board certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine and pulmonary disease.

Dr. David Benson has joined Mercy Clinic Pain Management at 3101 S.E. 14th St., in Bentonvill­e. Benson earned his doctor of medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed a residency in anesthesio­logy and a fellowship in pain medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is board-certified in anesthesio­logy.

Dr. Craig Sheedy was recently named preceptor of the year for the Northwest Arkansas region by New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathi­c Medicine. Sheedy is a board-certified emergency physician contracted by SCP Health to work at Northwest Medical Center emergency department­s in Bentonvill­e and Springdale.

William Graham Cobb III was recognized as the outstandin­g chamber executive during an awards luncheon at the Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives annual conference in Fort Smith on Aug. 26. Cobb is president and CEO of the Greater Bentonvill­e Area Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining the Bentonvill­e Chamber, he was the chief operating officer of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Jason Green was recognized as volunteer of the year during an awards luncheon at the Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives annual conference in Fort Smith on Aug. 26. Green is the vice president of human resources at ABB in Fort Smith. He is active on community boards including First National Bank, Baptist Health Fort Smith, Fort Smith Public Schools Foundation, Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce, Future School of Fort Smith, University of Arkansas Fort Smith Foundation and the Westark Area Council Boy Scouts of America. He also volunteers with several nonprofit organizati­ons.
